This Concealer is amazing. I have been trying it the last two weeks, and I can’t stop wearing it! It looks so good. I mostly using it for under the eyes and on my T zone. Its magical, light weight, doesn’t emphasised lines, corrects. What I noticed during my 9 hour shift with wearing mask, Concealer didn’t move or crease. Other thing is you don’t need to apply powder under the eyes! Just stays put! I think I found my holy grail Allison! It’s absolutely beautiful! ❤❤😊

Do you normally wear shade 10 in Chanel foundations... or do you go lighter on concealer? I wear 10 in their foundations and saw a KZfaqr I follow (who also wears my shade) bought 10 but also saw another I don't usually watch ordered 02.

@@JadedMuse2 02 is almost white. I noticed that this concealer is lighter than the corresponding shade in foundations. My shade is B10 for winter and B20 for summer. Got the sublimage concealer in B20 and it works with both as it’s noticeably lighter than my B20 foundations (including the sublimage foundation), and not darker than my B10 foundations.

Allison, I just received my concealer and I agree with you it’s wonderful!! It doesn’t crease all day, not drying, and it still looks great at the end of the day. I got shade 40 and use on other spots on my face and they look great too! I love when you said if it could just do your taxes 😆. I have not tried the Sublimage foundation I just blindly went for it and bought this concealer for my dark under eyes and glad I did. Thank you for your review!! 😊❤️

Thank You Allison! I was hoping you would review this new Sublimage Concealer. I purchased the same shade in 32 after consulting with the Chanel online Consultant because I too wanted to correct the slight bluish cast under my eyes as I've been having difficulty finding just the right concealer and formula to do it. Even though my skin shade is light, the pink/peach undertone of this 32 shade works amazingly well ! So happy with this new Chanel concealer...corrects, moisturizers, stay put, and doesn't crease! I should add that the smallest amount is all you need so those considering purchasing this concealer might want to start out with little dots (as I did) since this is buildable you could always add more. Love it!

@@AllisonChase Honestly, I did the exact same thing when I applied it for the first time. That's why I added in my post only the smallest amount is needed. I can see this concealer lasting me a long time as a result.

Hi Allison! The concealer is amazing, I agree with you. I purchased number 30 in Milan. They only had 4 colors. I am planning to purchase a lighter version later on. The only problem is the container. Very messy. Like the brush though

I love the brush too. I agree that maybe a pump would have been better but maybe because it has a thick texture a pump would not have worked.

Hi Ally-for me, a product like this makes sense if it’s that good because concealer is the main thing that I wear-, sunscreen, a glowy primer and a fabulous concealer that is a workhorse…. And then blush, and the other ‘dressings” shadow, lip… I rarely if ever wear foundation anymore… so… i may be picking this gem up eventually!

After watching this video, I applied the concealer once again. It was much better this time. Perhaps it takes getting used to. I have more mature skin and the problem i have with most concealers is that the concealer creases into lines. So far this has not done that. I received the Charlotte Tilbury Airbrush Flawless Setting Spray sets for up to 16 hours on the same day I received the sublimage concealer. I have been on spring break and tomorrow I go back to school, so I put the concealer along with the sublimage l'essence de teint on, then sprayed the setting spray over everything. The setting spray is supposed to have a blurring effect, as well. All i can say is that it all looks perfect!

I knew my heart will break even before watching this. I was also afraid to watch it, because I too, had the highest of expectations when I heard Sublimage concealer. Oh how wonderful that this product became of existence! The reason of my heartbreak is, its packaging. The jar is a typically keep it level, on your vanity, use it peacefully, like a beauty ritual at home. However I mostly use makeup on the go (recent job commute), so I switched to YSL Touche Éclat from Dior's backstage, because even that turned out to be too much of a hassle to use! Btw Dior, its life is 6 (or 9?) months, I used it for 11 and yes it oxidized and also started to crease a lot more. Also with the Dior in its first month I didn't need to set it then eventually it required more and more skill upon application in order to look flawless. I'd say for me, in an almost everyday use it performed well up until it hit its 4th month. My YSL has to be set from the start but doesn't crease or break up whatsoever in a 14 hour wear. Currently I'm at its 6th month. I am pretty sure once this hectic period of my life ends, I will get This precious jar. But I do wonder if you could give us a progress review when you reach 6th month on it. This Sublimage has a 12 months life, which is very impressive. I like that the statistical claims are also very realistic. Low numbers, but definitely real ones, for me absolutely worth it. I also wonder that given its beautiful formula, even if one uses it every day for a year, probably won't use up half of it! So would it last peacefully for a year and a half, if we keep it in the fridge? This is the product to sell to families where moms and teens have the same skin colour and can absolutely make the most of it! :D Anyways, I am very much looking forward to switch to a full face of Sublimage in the future. Living in LDN, skincare makes all the difference. Thank you for your review! xx p.s: how come I haven't noticed you have a Boots link?! oh and have you heard? Sephora is back in the UK... Maybe too late?

Oh I just heard that Sephora is back…I had no idea they weren’t in the UK. How strange. Was this a post Brexit thing? Anyway, I’m happy for UK makeup lovers and I think that revisiting this product in 6-12 months is a great idea since it is in a jar.

Hi, Alli! I must say that seeing how much you love this concealer and how you use it in (almost) all your videos since you purchased it is slowly but surely convincing me to also get it, 😊 This will be my first ever concealer since I'm not big on using complexion/concealer products as I've always thought they damage the skin in time. That being said, I'm really struggling to determine what colour I should choose as it is not available in any store where I live. I'm a little paler than usual as it's winter here and the Chanel N°1 foundation in B20 seems to look okay on me. Should I go for the same shade in this concealer, as well? Ouf that's tough. I would say for a shade lighter for the concealer but it's hard for me to judge through chat. Try the 10 concealer, if it's the wrong shade... say you had an allergy and a refund.

I just purchased this concealer. It’s fantastic! I have had trouble finding a concealer that would cover my dark circles, a result of health problems. They are dark! This product covers them with great results - no creasing or other issues. What is the difference between Rose Initial and Rose Ecrin? They look very similar. I have the rose initial but it barely shows on my B20 cheeks.

Did you just recently purchase your Rose Initiale blush? The new formula is infamous for being dry. You may have to “dig in” a bit more than usual. Rose Écrin is more muted.

Hi Ali! Thank you for this review! I'm curious, I usually wear their BR32 concealer. The color matches my skin well, I'm neutral with rose undertones. It helps but doesn't eliminate the blue bags, and helps with blemishes. I've heard the new one can be worn both under the eyes and elsewhere. My question is do you recommend the 32, or 30? Is the 30 almost the same, but no rose? TY♥️

Hi! Yes, 30 is very close to 32 but not as rosy. I chose 32 specifically for blueness under eyes, I'm not sure how it will spot concealer redness, but if you have dark sun spots it would work well.

I am so tempted to order...however, I have to ask you and the community here if this will cover extra dark circles. I only hear them under my eyes,I always had them and always obsessed to cover the blue and mauve colors. I donțt mind the jar just yet, seriously considering getting it as a Christmas gift for me but would never event think of making suck an investment without the Chanel expert 😍 Thank you for this video

It really does cover dark circles quite nicely. It won’t erase everything completely, but mostly. It’s one of the nicest concealers I’ve ever tried.

Hi Alli, I got a sample of cle de peau canceler And love it. I just have one question- what is it’s shelf life? I don’t wear makeup everyday, so a product has to have at least 18 months for me 🥴 So have you had this concealer for 18 months? Thank you

I definitely keep mine past 18 months 🫢 The “best by date” can be viewed as a suggestion, especially if the product has not changed in smell or texture.

Help! I just purchased the other Chanel concealer, why when i look close up, it looks drying on my skin even after using Le Lift eye cream. Could I be applying wrong? Am I suppose to use my fingers or brush? Maybe my under eyes are too dry? Your help and recommendations would be helpful. Thanks

Make sure to use a very hydrating eye cream beforehand. Try applying less, and use your fingers to blend out the concealer.

My sentiments exactly. I’d love to have this for on the go too. I wear little to no makeup so my makeup bag is minimal but I can’t see putting this in there without having a mess everywhere. This is something I’d have to put on before I go out and if not then no concealer for the day.

Hi there - I was searching for reviews on this concealer and came across yours. I bought this concealer but am having a couple of issues with it. I am 60 so I definitely have more lines under my eyes than you, which is precisely why I thought this would be a good one. Do you use an eye cream under this or does it have enough skincare benefits that you don’t need extra moisture? I have tried with and without and it still gets patchy and also creases but I have those issues with all concealers. I’d really like to get this one to work. Im in Canada and it was $140 here. And I def need to set it.

Hi there! I definitely recommend an eye cream beforehand. This has skincare in it, but alone it isn't enough.

I really want to purchase this concealer. Once I got into my 40’s my skin totally changed. I had to do a brand new complete overhaul of my skincare. It wasn’t fun & it was very expensive. Also, bc some products I purchased didn’t work that great or I found products that I liked better. The 1 area I have been struggling w/is dryness under my eyes. I have so many other financial obligations this time of year, I keep telling myself to hold off. It’s soooo difficult though! Thank u for such a great review. I really appreciate it!

Hi Allison, I picked up the infamous Chanel Sublimage concealer and I have to say I am quite disappointed. It feels very dry under my eyes from the swatch test but despite my better self, I decided to buy it. I have tried it at least 4 times since last Friday and it continues to disappoint. Its texture is nice in the jar but so dry when it got on my under eye area. I notice you said a very little goes a long way so I must have put on too much. You are the Chanel expert, could you help explain why putting too much causes dryness and creasing? Thanks

I think you probably put on way too much if it's creasing. Apply a small little dot and try blending it out with a clean makeup brush or finger.

@@AllisonChase yeah I’m so glad that the Pharmaprix counter at the PVM is so nice. Nora and her manager are wonderful. I’m their VIP client for the last 15 years since Sebastian was still there doing my makeup. Before Covid, I used to run over to the Pharmaprix counter before any events at the office and they would do my makeup!! I missed those days because after Covid, everything changed. We are working mostly from home.

Good morning Allison you look very nice and glowy here nice fresh face looks always beautiful! Unfortunately I can't wear chanel anymore I'm too sensitive probably due to my medications I take for my heart ♥ but it looks very nice but it's too expensive for me but it's gorgeous I used to wear the Chanel eyeshadow palette 🎨 but some reason I can't it burns my eyes 👀 I bought 2 recently but had to return Unfortunately due to burning 🔥 maybe cause there's carmin and talc and bismuth oxychloride which does irritation my eyes 👀 it's ashamed cause I use to love their eyeshadow quads and blush , lipstick 💄 balms coco Rouge balms velvet allure matte 💄 was too drying but now they put too much flower 🌸 fragrance I'm sensitive to smells that are too much ... ugh oh well its OK 👌 maybe someday I will try again if they change it , havea great day love your loo,💕🙋‍♀️😘

@@AllisonChase i have so far just keep playing around new brands I haven't yet tried so that's cool 😎 even some cleaner brands also irritated me it's probably now immore sensitive skin cause I'm dryer due to my meds and living in a desert 🏜 now for so long my skin type changed well kinda I wasn't dry before only during the winter months bak when I was hometown upstate NY 🗽 but now living in Vegas for now 20yrs and heart ♥ medicine and 2 water 💦 pills don't help LOL 😂 older in age but I do try to keep moisturizer my face but now I got older my milia has gone crazy 🤪 everytime I get them removed they come back but my Dr's think cause I take so many medications and the sun here is brutal it takes a toll but also it's heritary and it seems when I go into the sun ☀ even just going into my car or walk the Vegas strip it's nuts 🤪 I do exfoliate with an acid serum and wash my face everyday and no heavy creams if I do then I use a Niacinamide before heavy cream it shrinks down or flakes off but then next day it comes back no one seems to know why I have dry sensitive skin 🧛‍♀️ I used to be a cosmetologist back in the day but I don't work now due to my heart ♥ got worse when I got older so I already know about milia and skintypes skin care but not updated stuff but I do learn more now on KZfaq and my Dr's i have any due to my health but I also have thyroid issues right now and cannot take those meds I had troubles with my breathing and it was lowering my heart ♥ issues I have almost went to ER hospital 🏥 so had to stop so now they're monitored me at the moment due to I can't take any thyroid meds I have hypothyroidism

Thanks for this video but I think I will pass on it. I rarely use concealer and not spending that on something I rarely use AND I am not a jar kind of person. Looks messy and looks like it will be messy as you use it.
