Guess who’s gonna try to change her turning light all by herself !

For the main light, I just took the plug off, the rubber, and unclipped the bulb, then slid the new bulb in, clipped it, placed the rubber back and attached the connector. Didn't need to loosen anything, nor take the headlight out. Yes, it was a bit of a fiddle, but with some patience it went quite well.

This video is fantastic! I started off reading forums on how to change the bulb, but I had no idea what they were talking about, (now I know they were changing the bulb without removing the headlight). After having done it now, I know there is no possible way I could have changed it without seeing everything. This video could not have made it any easier to do. I finished in under 30 minutes, and now understand a part of my car better. Thank you so much!

Well done video! I think that the complexity of this job says a lot about Japanese car design. It should not take 1-2 hours to change a couple of light bulbs.

Really helpful video - my handbook was useless and I had no idea I'd have to unclip/remove so many things to get to the parking bulb, so would have been completely stuck and ended up paying for someone else to do it if I hadn't found your tutorial! Thank you!

is the third pin of the headlight in the same place for yaris 2008 ( do i have to loosen the bumper to get to it as well ?)

In the end I was able to change the headlamp bulb without needing to take off the front grill or the entire headlamp, but only because your video showed where the clips holding the bulb were. If you take an old towel and use it between the light housing and the fender it will protect everything from getting scratched up.

Just changed both headlight assemblies and all 8 bulbs on my 2008 Yaris. This video was so helpful. Did it in an hour instead of probably 3 trying to figure things out. One more small hint, if you use a small flat blade to unseat the side mounting tab the assembly pops right out. Thanks for the help!

Well, I must be that Harry Houdini ;-) , because I just changed the headlight of my Toyota Yaris (2009) on the passenger's side without removing all those parts. I looked in the manual to get it out, but honestly, I don't know how I managed that. Took me more than half an hour to get it out. But your video was of great help for putting in the new headlight. In a few minutes, the job was fixed. So thanks a lot, Mark!

Hello Mr. Farmer. A friend suggested to google KZfaq regarding my 2007 Yaris to help with changing a headlight bulb. I must say that you were spot on in describing what to and how to do it.
