Wow! Why did Yamaha design the Royal Star that way? That is a lot of work just to change the air cleaner, They should have put it on the side of the engine like most other bikes, I am not looking forward to changing the air cleaner on my 1996 Royal Star.

It is not the original paper air filter seen in the video. It's a K&N filter. K&N filters cannot be cleaned with compressed air. It is necessary to wash it with its own detergent and then lubricate it with its special oil.

I notice your exhaust is two into one...I have two separate exhaust pipes on each side on mines.
