When I was 16, I took a creative writing class in High School. I loved it. I told my teacher that I wanted to be a writer. He said, "Choose a different career. You don't have the aptitude for writing." I was sad, and followed his advice, until I reached age 45. Then I started to write. I've written nine books and publish seven of them. My spirit wants to write words that inspire others, make them laugh and cry and lift them up. I have more books inside of me, and I will write them. My best work comes when I am tuned into my spirit and the words flow like pure notes of music.

When my children were young I decided to accept a long commute to the office so that we could live in a more affordable town and my wife could stay home with the kids. While on the commuter train I wrote song lyrics, and in spare moments at home I would pull out my guitar and write music to the lyrics I liked best. When I got done paying college tuition for my kids, I started renting studio time and recording the songs with a friend who plays drums, bass, keyboards and percussion for me and finds me other musicians to do backup singing or play horn parts. I now have songs up on Spotify, Apple Music, KZfaq Music etc and 80 professionally produced songs on my website. I'm still paying the bills with my job, which I still enjoy, and also having a ball as an amateur songwriter.

My daughter Laura died at age 32 in 2019. So for her mid-life was age 16. Laura developed rheumatoid arthritis at age 4 along with an eye condition which resulted in almost total blindness. At the end, she could only see a small spot on the right side of her right eye. Along the way, just before “middle age” she developed an increasing amount of autoimmune disorders and had to take an increasing amount of harsh immune-suppressing medicines. She knew, at middle age she knew, she was living on borrowed time. She knew that she was alive because of the doctors and nurses and the scientists that advanced her life. Laura told me one day, “Mom, I won’t live passed age 40”. After a second, I shakily said, “Well, you’d better do all that you want to do then”. I was the only one she shared this with and since she had always been well attuned to her body, I believed her. We stopped worrying about stupid stuff. We made sure to say “I’m sorry” and “I love you” a lot. We appreciated everyday we had. We took nothing for granted. So, LIVE your life, take time to just BE, and above all be KIND. 💕🐝💕🇺🇸 She was amazing and at her Celebration of Life service many people talked about how she left an impact and how they changed because of her. One month before Laura died, she spoke at my Mom’s funeral and ended by reminding the family to BE KIND. We lost a total of 6 family members over the next 2 years.

I've just turned 70. I'm a writer, I travel, I have no responsibility to anyone but myself and money in the bank. In the last decades I've spent a lot of time trying out different occupations, different lifestyles. I was a stand up comic for a while! I also drove taxis (I love driving) and cooked in an up market bed and breakfast. I've come to the conclusion that it's not what you do, it's how you do it. The purpose of life is joy, and joy is everywhere. There's joy in washing the dishes - the warm water, the scent of the detergent, the clean dishes afrerwards. Now I live my life with joy.

⏰ I went through a middle life crisis when I was 31. I always wanted to be a writer. I quit my job, I started a business as a freelance writer and as an author. I wrote 2 books that are published and working now on my third one. My business as a freelance writer really fulfill me and truly makes me happy. I can't imagine doing anything else with my life. I practiced medicine for 41 years. Twenty nine years in the emergency department. I thought I knew what life was about until I lost the most important person in my life. A person for whom I would have gladly given my life. After my wife passed away, strange things started to happen around the house that I couldn't scientifically explain. Family and friends asked to write them down so they could read them. It made me relive our life. I was amazed at the amount of synchronicity in our lives. The number was phenomenal. Without just one of them, this life would never have been lived or told. It became a book called "A Random Life?" This our story.

Last night I realized that after my friend of several years conspired against me - in high school - for reasons that were unknown to me - she actually did a huge favor for me. Rather than defend my place there, I moved away to another school district for my senior year of high school which resulted in me choosing to go to university - which I never would have done if I had lived in that other little town - where the teens get married and have babies. The trajectory of my life completely changed because she chose to be cruel to me - which resulted in me walking away and creating a completely different life experience and a very different awareness of myself and my world.

I have only one thing on my "bucket list." Whenever I am able to "retire," if I am fortunate enough to ever do so, I will travel the countryside of Spain & learn to play guitar, all styles of guitar to be found in Spain but most significantly, flamenco. I've always been simply hypnotized by this music & have never had the chance to devote the time to learn how to do it much less having a teacher for such a skill. Maybe, someday⏰

It is never too late and we are never too old, to explore our inner hopes, dreams and aspirations. I took up pottery in my late 50s, and violin, with no musical background, when I was about 60. Those two hobbies define me today. My fingers are crippled and in constant pain due to arthritis. Still, I working through the pain to achieve a spectacular inner joy from pottery and violin.

What I'm going to say will sound wacky, but I've lived my life almost totally as I wanted to live it, and the amount of synchronicities I experienced were mind boggling. Now at 70 I seem to have reached a plateau. Not much is happening, like waiting for something big.

I was a hostage when I was 17, and after surviving it, I had a choice, either make into a comedy or tragedy. I chose Comedy, of course. In my mind I completely rewrote what happened to me as a gift. I found golden nuggets and began a different life with a different meaning. To this day I believe that was a true gift from God. Who I have become is beyond my wildest dreams. I used it to catapult myself into a new version away from a usual victim mentality and story. And it is all due to that horrific event. Thank you God. 😊

A few days ago I changed my life completely, I moved from Norway to Paris and I don't even speak french but i've always loved the language and culture, I signed up for a painting class and i'm embracing the huge shift from my normal days that lacked that unique touch. This has been my favourite movie since the first time I saw it. It's one thing to see the comedy watching Harold's life unfold. It's another to realize that each of us is a Harold. Judging by the comments here and in modern life at large, my love of the movie is justified, and this video is very timely. Nicely done. 🕡 I'm 66 (y.o.) and always wanted to be an actress. Currently being Hermia in a community theater production of MidSummer's Night Dream/Shakespear meets the Beatles (it's a musical). The last time I acted was 20 years ago and on pg 326 (my birthday) was my monologue of "I want it all". Your channel is deeply thought provoking and satisfyingly complex. This one made me weep. (My day job is Clinical Psychologist 😉.)

I needed to see this far more than I could ever explain in a comment. Jung has been a major influence in my life, both during college and after, and my spiritual journeys taught me to embrace synchronicity as a sign that I'm heading the right direction. I'm now 38, and for the first time in my life, I live alone. I've lost the love I thought I'd keep forever to circumstances I can't explain or understand, and for the entirety of this relationship the synchronicity that used to guide me has been completely nonexistent. I've known the entire time that something was wrong, but I couldn't put my finger on it.. and now I see that this wasn't so much a loss as it was another step, and there will be many more. ⏰ I always wanted to be a pilot but was bad at math when at school, so I sort of believed i was too dumb to manage it... at 31 I went for a flight introduction, I could barely afford lessons and rent with my film/editing job... due to Covid and a bunch of stuff, I never reached commercial pilot license, or even private... I did pass all the exams and did pilot a small plane solo... a few times. Good memories.

Have seen Stranger Than Fiction multiple times, never thought of it this way. Will probably never watch it the same again… The fact that we all know we’re going to die is exactly what gives life meaning. The stakes of that don’t take on any real bearing until we get close enough. Most wait until it’s too late, which is why so many people start to change after a near-death experience

I can't even tell you how eerily meaningful this video was for me. I have always loved this movie. I soaked it up, marveling at its depth, complexities and underlying themes of spirituality and the human condition. I've been going through a serious spiritual crisis for several months with no resolution in sight. For some reason (and now I know why) I've been thinking about this movie for the last few days, really wanting to re-watch it. Then your video pops up. That was synchronicity #1. Then, in watching the video, the synchronicities piled up one after the other! It ended up like a 4th wall break inside of a 4th wall break, providing answers or angles or things I could do to get me out of this pit I find myself in. I know that thousands of people will relate to this video or find it helpful in some way, but to me, it just seems inarguable that it was tailor-made specifically for me, specifically for my dilemma at the specific time I needed to hear it. This has been one of the most interesting segments I've watched recently, thank you for this content.

Wow! Wonderful story. It has given me great heart. I consider this a synchronicity to my life at this moment. My husband died in 2017 with multiple medical issues but cancer did it. His two daughters abandoned me and there was a challenge to the will. The cruelty, hard hearted ness and spite was so hard to bear. Further more a litigation which included the lawyer who prepared the will 20years ago showed that he was a bully. This was nearly four years in process. In the end the daughters said I could have half the value of the house if I paid everyone’s lawyers costs. This was so harsh that it was difficult to accept. I realised that I could not continue to compromise myself financially so I complied. What I learnt was that I would hold fast to my values of kindness, respect, truth and love. I battled my doubts, fears and anguish. I was internalising my anger and disappointment and I ended up with osteoarthritis in my joints. I learnt to forgive myself and the other parties. The house was sold but I was afraid that I wouldn’t be able to provide for myself a house to live in. I have been house sitting for 15 months and met lovely people and been healed while caring for their pets. I have been pushing through to new levels of trust and belief of a power greater than myself who loves and accepts me. In late June while preparing a fire I found an ad for a over 50s village in a nearby town. It wasn’t one I ever thought I would live in but I thought I needed to have an open mind. I had a friend who lived there that I had not seen for awhile and it turned out she was only five minutes away from this village. She invited me for lunch and asked if she could come with me. When I arrived at her house it was 11:11. I was getting this time several times before this. I had arrived at the right time as the salesman told me that in the following month the price of the apartment would be 10k more. Further to that because the community centre was not finished I would have reduced weekly fees. The apartment was still being build but was in a excellent position. At the office he tells me that the name of the street is called Sanctuary Lane! I burst into tears as I had a massage practice called the Sanctuary for ten years and were the happiest times of my professional life. He asked me what letter did I want for my apartment which was due to be finished in November. Perfect timing . My investments matured on Nov 19th and my birthday was the 28th November so the salesman said oh it should be B for birthday. Laughter. So to buy was put into motion. I could not believe that this was happening but so right. I felt a peace and sense that I would be very happy there. The next day the salesman sent me an email saying he had done a search for the settlement date which he did not expect to be through. It was my birthday 28th November. Many emotions. Relief, joy, awed, please pinch me if this is real. It is.

One thing I’ve always wanted to do was make a story so powerful it positively impacts countless lives through its meaning. For the downtrodden, the depressed, the anxious and confused, the lost and frustrated - anybody who feels worthless… I want to make a story for them so they can feel whole (and loved just for just being themselves). ⏰

Very eye opening! After years of growing up, feeling like I was in the shadows of my family, I am finally creating a life that I truly am passionate about I really love Dance. I have no interest in being a teacher but I enjoy being a student very much and progressing my skills. The next step for me is traveling to different locations to take workshops and classes from other studios. I’d also love to partake in some performances just to get a taste of what it’s like to be in the spotlight I’ve also been building a personal development brand for five years now. I’ve been wanting to give up, as it seems like everyone loves to look, but not actually purchase. But I’m getting the hang of branding and marketing and won’t give up on my dream. I really love helping women find their confidence and find love with good men. That really means the world to me to be able to provide those services and I am staying hopeful that it will be a lucrative path for me someday

At the end if you think about it , the metaphor of the man that consciously dies took my mind to jesus , socrates and other great men that realized there is no death and by that they ve transcend it. This is quite the synchronicity for me.. and exactly the sort of transition I believe I'm going through right now! Just the other day, I began read Edward Edinger's Ego and Archetype and in the first chapter on inflation, and despite already knowing this to a large degree, it clarified for my understanding that I had my identity built around finding something - someone - who would give me access to that sense of wholeness and purpose I only ever found in relationships. I was compensating for a lack of self worth. Reading that chapter immediately released a tension I've been carrying for a number of years now and I got the feeling I had finally let go of that old identity and could move forward. Wow... i am just now discovering this channel... These videos and content are hitting home hard... So true. I know it is. Have thought this way my whole life and when he talks about losing these thoughts/feelings over time and realizing this in the mid 30's, it happened to me around 40... My entire identity has been one thing cause i chose at a young age to pursue a "normal, better way of living" and now, all i want is to go after my youthful dreams...

Oh. My. Gawd. I’m not crying, you are crying. This struck a deep cord within me…maybe because I’m at a point in my life where I CAN write a new story. It’s a little overwhelming but I’m starting out with being intentional throughout my day and seeing where that goes. Wish me luck!

😂😂😂😢😢😢 I was watching a music video on KZfaq 2 weeks ago, on my laptop, but I didn't close the tab. The suggested videos at the end of the video were two of your videos: 1. reading your incredible true stories of synchronicity (the thumbnail reads -> what you seek is seeking you) 2. the game you didn't know you were playing (the thumbnail reads-> why you feel stuck) Thirty minutes before I watched this video, (on my phone), KZfaq had recommended the second video mentioned above, I clicked on it- watched it for a few seconds then closed it and moved on to watch some funny shorts. Then this video was recommended. I guess the universe or God has been trying to send me a sign- for the past two weeks, it seems. Just wow 🤯🤯🤯. Thank you so much for the work and effort you put in this video. Be blessed.
