If you haven’t watched Avatar the Last Airbender: Bringing the World to Life, watch it. You’ll get new footage, new characters speaking and BTS. Dallas and Paul are perfect as Zuko and Iroh! Katara has her hair down and the only time we’ve seen her hair down in book 1 is her fight with Pakku. There are a couple of scenes that I have no clue on where that scene is from. Ian is perfect as Sokka. And Gordon is so Aang.

Aang: I love the fact that they’re removing the detours with the elephant koi, for an example. Even though 22 minutes give or take times 20 episodes is lesser than 60 minutes times 8, we’re going to see more of the Fire Nation and Azula’s origin story. There’s little to no time including the detours and make the episode more coherent since the difference is 12 episodes. Plus, that’s the main reason I don’t like Aang of how childish he was. Aang doesn’t want to be the Avatar would be fine if there wasn’t a war going on. He knows that there’s a war going on, he got captured by the Fire Nation for a bit, and he just saw the damage of the Southern Air Temple, but in the next episode he is riding on the elephant koi. Something there doesn’t make sense. Aang is the only one that acts younger than his age. I’m like how are you six or twelve years old? Sokka: “we removed how sexist Sokka was” is different than “we removed Sokka’s sexism”, meaning they toned it down. Because in the cartoon, it was a punch in the face and on the nose of how sexist Sokka was, given the main audience of kids. As long as Sokka remains comic relief, the idea guy, leadership skills, etc, then I’m good with this Sokka. Avatar State: curious on the tweaking the rules a little bit. Katara: I heard that the Northern Water Tribe is still sexist as Master Pakku. I’m curious about this gender issue. Having the creators leaving never bothered me. LOK was nothing like ATLA, especially with Korra. They know how to do animated series, but maybe not a live action series. Rick Riordan was involved with PJO live action series and there were some changes. I think there’s some changes that the fans didn’t like. I didn’t mind it too much. And Bryke said that they would change many things and didn’t see how people thought the show was perfect. It seems like Zuko is less anger, more desperation. It’s not animated so exaggerated emotions can look a little off.
