🚨Disney is changing their DAS (Disney Accesibility Services) 🚨
Previously, DAS was defined to assist guests who could not tolerate long queues due to a disability. Under the updated language, Disney has changed that to accommodate “only those guests who, due to a developmental disability like autism or similar.”
As of May 20 in WDW and June 18th in Disneyland:
-In-person registration will no longer be an option at
-Disney World (and will only be available at ticket booth windows in Disneyland)
-Eligibility of a DAS pass will be bumped from 30 days to 120 days
-Pre-arrival attraction selections will no longer be a default offering to every DAS guest
-DAS party size can be up to four (with an exception for families)
There’s a lot of talk in different Facebook groups going on about what this means, and since we are going back in November, I decided to just try calling instead of listening to Facebook… however, I was told to look at the FAQ section of the website, which literally isn’t helpful. And the disability services line is currently down.
What are your thoughts?
