Wise decision! Yes, let’s just enjoy music and all the wonderful singers!

I respect your stance. I just recently commented against someone who maintains a channel detecting these things. Hope you don’t delete this comment since it’s the only time I’ll mention it. Like you, I just want to enjoy listening to an artists performance and not anyone’s disparaging remarks. Some of these small time artists devote a lot of their time to produce content to entertain and uplift viewers. They work hard to create. I’m against others trying to destroy these products of creativity from the comfort of their detection tools. In any case, kudos to you for drawing the line. New sub here …

Thank you for the sub. I suppose I should have stated that the policy is for going forward. I have no intention of retroactively deleting comments.

YES! Thank you! I know everyone has their favorites, but I have found so many singers through reaction channels. I just want to listen to good music and get someone else's perspective.

As far as I'm concerned it's jealous trolls who try to besmerch singers with amazing voices. Singers like Lucy Thomas and Dimash are simply the best singers in the world and they have both proved that by their "live" performances that they don't need any electronic alterations. For lesser singers it may be needed, but not for these incredible voices. You can't improve on perfection.

Well said, and thank you for going public with your very valid feelings, fortunately, the main artiste I'm following on these channels is singing live with a full orchestra behind her for a lot of her performances, so the issues you are rightly well upset by don't arise.

I'll take a wild guess and say that 99% of your audience supports your stance in this regard. Suggestion: If these people continue sending messages, PLEASE, don't let it bother you. Just do as you say, delete the messages and if they continue, DELETE THEM. But, Paul, do it as a matter of fact and don't let them bother you. Don't take it personal. Treat it just as a business decision. And, YES, don't mention it again. You're up to 11K and that's fantastic! Congratulations and that number will keep rising!

I totally understand and agree with your thoughts on this matter. I especially enjoy so many of the classic performers from the very beginning of the recording industry up to today. Astute music critics are way beyond my ears field of understanding. If I like a song, I like it. Year I know so many of our current artists have some help at times. I just hope the industry doesn’t change the emotional impact that so many of our classic songs and performers infused into the story the song intended

I went to see Lucy Thomas at Stoller hall on March 5th, after that crap had broken a week or two before. I was torn whether to go or not after hearing about it, but I went because I am a huge fan of hers and I didn't want to miss the chance. I am glad I did because she was just as spectacular live as we all hoped she would be. In fact as I was making my way out at the interval I found myself next to Jason (Lucy's dad) in the queue. The last two songs before the interval were the duets with Martha and I took the opportunity to tell Jason that his daughters were even better live than on video. It was true as well as anyone who was there will tell you.

Hello Paul 👋 my friend, thank you 🙏 for your courage in addressing this problem of the bad, malicious music industry 🎶! I agree 💯 % with you! What wonderful, natural human voices 😲 we used to have with all their rough edges and flaws as life played out! And today they want to robotize everything in order to create the perfect human with a dead singing 😲 soul ✨️ and without emotions! I am a total opponent of modern (AI) ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE!! It destroys the entire image of humanity, everything that defines being human, given by God ✨️🙏! That's why I'm such a huge Angelina Angel 😇 because this girl 👧 is now a young woman! with all her genuine, natural, old, orphan soul ✨️💫✨️ and her pure heart 💖 she sings 😲 that's what the world 🌍 needs, and especially the ailing music industry 🎶 needs healing now, that's my opinion, Paul! I warmly congratulate you 💖 on your 11,000 subscribers in this short time, really remarkable! Paul, you offer a service alongside your video commets, namely 🙏"praying"🙏 that many appreciate and need!! God blesses you 💫🙏 for that! with so many loyal subscribers! keep it up🙏👍! it's great to watch videos with you! especially Angelina 😇👣👰♀️😲🎙 and sometimes Dimash 😲🎙! Bye Paul see you in the next Angelina or Dimash music video! God 💫 bless you Paul and your family 🙏love 💖 and peace ✌ ☮️ and kindness 😀 from Switzerland 🇨🇭 🇨🇭🇨🇭👋🙋♂️Roger aka Röschu out 😊!

Great decision. 😊 These discussions on auto tune, etc just cause divisiveness.
@patrickchauharjasingh716428 күн бұрын
100%. Comments arguing about who is autotuned or pitch-corrected or which artist is better etc. defeat the purpose of these channels which, to me at least, serve, inter alia, to bring beautiful music to us, including music we might have missed otherwise, and to give exposure to artists who might remain obscure otherwise. For instance, I recently came across people arguing about my favourite artist and whether she has 2½ or 3 or 4 octaves...I mean, WHO CARES? She has a beautiful voice, and is a super-talented singer. Can't we just be grateful we get to listen to and enjoy her music?
