We review the settings and features of the Hypertech Max Energy Spectrum Power Programmer on my 2012 Chevrolet Silverado and make some changes to a tune that was already saved on the programmer.

Just used it on my 2016 F250 6.2 gas and I calibrated my speedometer for 37’s, cleared TPMS sensor (finally), and cleared check engine light. Only disappointment is that it didn’t offer gear ratio’s as an option for some reason….

would this work on a 2012 camaro it’s stock and also a V6 i want to get rid of the speed limiter car can reach 155mph but is limited to 118

so did this really help ... I have an 06 Tiburon 5speed was thinking about getting one to help with the mpg on get 17 in the city... any insight would be appreciated !

I wouldn't say I got increased fuel mileage. About the same or 1 MPG worse depending on driving style.

I bought the same tuner for my 07 silverado 1500 and have tried several times to install a custom tune without any luck. Each time I go through the steps and in the end it tells me unsuccessful because the battery voltage is too low. Hypertext says I have a draw on the battery somewhere but I have pulled as many fuses as I can figure might be causing this with no luck. Any. Thoughts or suggestions that may help? Hypertech has been anything but helpful through this process. Thanks

How old is your battery? Have you had it tested by a service shop or auto parts store? On my 2012 Silverado 1500, I pulled the radio fuse (location 42) under the hood and Driver Information Center (DIC) fuse location 22 on the instrument panel fuse block inside. Does your truck have an audio amplifier from the factory or aftermarket? You model year may be different from mine. Check you owner's manual. Please also keep the doors shut while programming.

Take negative cable off battery put a test light on battery terminal if its bright start checking relays alternator and fuse until light dims It wont go off because you always have draw from the battery

have you had any issues with what I believe is lifter noise, rattle? I installed mine with no mods and did the lower tune and have noticed that. I called hypertech and they said to use middium grade gas. ( not a very helpful phone call, basiclly got nothing out of them). any suggestions

Do you mean spark knock? Lifter rattle would be a mechanical problem.

@@Todd_S not sure but maybe. At the moment it's at the dealership getting fixed for an issue it had when I bought it. If that's is the issue, what do I need to do
