We got this system 7 years ago and I've never seen the people that come to maintenance our system do a lot of this stuff. When we first got the system it could put out 2 whole gallons at a time which helped because we fill up the humidifiers and fill our dog bowls at night before bed. Now we only get about a gallon out of it at a time. They charge us 200 dollars to come maintenance it. I'm going to maintenance it myself for now on since I found all 4 of these filters for 43 bucks on amazon.

My AC30 is only making about 12oz after changing filters, then runs dry. I did NOT replace the membrane. I was told I did not need to. I tried calling Culligan, but I get nothing but a run around from them and they refuse to tell me what to look at without paying $85 for a service call. Culligan SUCKS! Oh, and those filters are about $90! I will try looking at the things you pointed out. One word of advice, maybe film a little bit closer. Thanks for posting this.

Had the same problem. Try draing your tank, when empty, check pressure with tire pressure gauge. Set pressure with pump in between 8 to 10 lbs of pressure. Make sure to drain the tank completely. Refill the tank and check the system. You should be good.

Membrane life can be between 3-7 years, assuming regular filter changes. You might need a membrane. But it could be something else. Hard to diagnose over the phone.

Per User's Instruction of AC-30, the whole system (storage tank, faucet, and manifold) should be sanitized when replacing filters. I watched 2 videos from Culligan guys and none of them did that.

Hi... Very clear video... I wanted to ask for an answer on how to solve the problem of the continuous flow of water in the drain of the AC30 group. How is it necessary to intervene? Thank you

Thanks for the reply. I think maybe I didn't explain myself. I state that I have to translate your answer via an English translator. My problem is present on my personal 20-year-old CULLIGAN group type AC30 osmotic reverse. The defect is that after having personally replaced 3 filters, the group CONTINUES to discharge water into the drain. The present tank is 3 gallons loaded at 0.6bar. The capsule has been changed on the back of the filter holder head. Cleaned and checked capillary output!! I wonder could it be a problem inside the upper filter holder???? I replaced 4 recycled!!!! If the problem was in the FILTER HEAD, it is STILL found as a spare as it is out of production. If you have an email I can send pictures. A greeting

I just tried replacing my filters and water is leaking out of the top of the first filter(the one where the 4 1/4 inch tubes connect to) Any advice for me?

Thanks for the video. Was struggling with a leaky sump but when you mentioned the “sticker” on the center filter I realized that someone switched it when changed and that was the issue. Swapped back the little nipple and sump and now I’m back in business. Small details make a difference! Thank you.

We have the ac30 system and went to change the filter that looks like it has white rope on it. The one we pulled out was kinda yellow and orange and it didn't have white rope on it. It also only had one rubber washer instead of two. Is it possible the one with rope on it can look like this if you water too long to replace it? I think we went 3 years before replacing it.

Thanks. Possible to share which one do you buy? I have purchased from amazon. EBay and other online store. They all have around 100 when measured with tds tester. I finally bought the Culligan original pay 4x more and it’s measured 35. You really get what you pay for.

I bought mine from Amazon, and after a year my TDS is over 300. I don’t remember if I checked it when I first replaced them. Kinda sucks since I have uranium in my water and now I’ve been drinking that for how long? Make sure to test with a TDS meter regularly is the lesson there. I replaced them with Culligan filters this time around

Any idea how much water should flow out the drain? Mine is a constant small stream when full
@TheH2OBro
@TheH2OBro 7 ай бұрын
If your tank is full but the stream is low then the air bladder in the holding tank might not have enough pressure. You can use a standard bike pump to pressurize it. Should be 8 psi when the tank is empty

The orings are not manufactured by Culligan. They are made by John Guest. Your local Culligan dealer should carry them but if you don't want to use them you can order them online from various vendors. The smaller ones are 1/4" and can be found here www.kleen-ritecorp.com/p-23730-14-o-ring-for-john-guest-fittings.aspx The bigger ones are 3/8" and can be found here www.kleen-ritecorp.com/p-23728-38-o-ring-for-john-guest-fitting.aspx.

Bad advice on the tubes. you say to push the tube in and then pull the small grab ring. WRONG. The user manual says this (and it works): To disconnect the connector, hold the collar against the fitting body and pull the tube from the fitting. I wish I would have read the documents instead of finding your video on youtube.

I'm frusted by your video...you should really let someone actually see what you are doing rather than looking at your arm! It would make a lot more sense and help if we could actually see what you are doing! Thanks for tryin.
