I watched this with my students when we learnt about emotions. I asked him if he feel sad after watched this, but no, he said he was happy. I asked why (I thought he still can't understand the differences for each emotions). Turned out, his answer was "They finally met again at the end, that's why I'm happy".

Yes but if you and your love ones are in Jesus Christ it is only a temporary separation! That is the great news of the Gospel! For God so loved the world he gave his only begotten son so that we may live! God gave himself for US! All we have to do is accept it and love him back! God IS love!! If you think you love your family you can’t imagine how much God loves you! However God wants your love freely, he didn’t create robots, he wants you to turn to him and love him!

Noemix YT God bless you! You sound like you have a wonderful heart! You have realized that love is the most important thing there is, congratulations! Seriously, many people don’t realize that, or are fooled by a fake version of love. The good news is this: our God, who created us IS love. He loves you and your family so much that he came down to this world after we sinned against him and he died for us to buy us back. See, if you break the law and you face a judge but that judge happens to be your friend and lets you off he would be a corrupt judge. God is NOT corrupt and he doesn’t lie... so just like if that judge fined you for whatever you did to end up in his court and you didn’t have any money to pay the fine so your parents paid it for you Jesus (God in the flesh) paid the price for us. He was the ONLY one who was able to pay that debt because he was sinless and Holy... now all you have to do is love him and follow his laws and you will live forever with him!! He wants you to have faith in him, that you are saved by him, and he wants you to come to him, repent of your sins and ask him to be your Lord and Savior and if you do that with a true heart, believing in him he will become your Lord and Savior. If your parents and family are willing to accept him they too will be with you in Heaven forever.. and you will never lose your family (I believe your pets too). I can promise you one thing. This world is shallow and corrupt and run by Satan, that is very real.. you’ve discovered how strong love is, now you need to meet the one who gave you that love. If you truly want a relationship with him and want to be Holy and righteous like him he will answer you.. he will not forsake you... just never give up because he wants to see you have faith, but I promise you if you seek him truthfully you won’t need to die wondering you will live KNOWING he is with you... there are many fake Christians and false doctrines out there, but if you understand that he is the one true God and that his word (The Bible) is absolute truth (written by The Holy Spirit through many men over thousands of years on every different continent yet all coincides with itself) you can build your relationship with our WONDERFUL GOD who loved you so much he gave you that love and that family you so desperately want to keep. People can mock and doubt but our God is so wonderful we don’t even realize how great he is, and he loves us! That’s the best news in the world and the ones who are his children are the richest people there are.. the celebrities in Hollywood are poor compared to us.. all because of Jesus! This reminds me of my grandma. I wanted to take her to theater. I loved her so much. And then, she died. She was sick for only 4 days. Sometimes I imagine that she is next to me and I "talk" with her. But actually I'm just talking to walls. Sometimes I imagine us going to theater. I really miss her. I loved her so much and I know she loved me. And that's why I always cry when I see this animation.

I watched this many times and every time I cried. They were both lonely and found company in each other. As a mother who has an adult son who is very busy and I rarely gets to see him this resonated with me. My closeness to my dog during my time of illness reminds me of the lady and her robot. I'm so glad she came back for him in the after life.

That was so sad. The part where the robot tried to "change her batteries" so she could wake up, reminded me of when my grandpa died. I entered the room with a huge bouquet, he always loved flowers, I thought he was sick but, as soon as I saw him laying there lifeless, never to wake up again I was in such denial my mum says I was begging him to "wake up and see the beauiful flowers I got him" over and over until I started sobbing uncontrollably and kind of blacked out for a while. I remember thinking I'd never talk to him again, I'd never see him but, this movie made me realize that he's in a better place now. He lived a fulfilling life, went through wars and hardships and was a very wise man. We all miss him. Very beautiful story and interesting animation~❤ Edit: It's been years since this comment and I want to thank you for the comments and support, I hope you're all doing well ❤️

Really to me my mom and dad help me with my hardships and comfort me when im down or sad. I know they will always be there for me until they arent. That scares me, that my mom and dad will die. 10 years ago my stepdad sent me this. 3 years ago me and mom ran away from him cuz he was abusive alcoholic. I still lived more than 10 years with the bastard and I just found this link while cleaning out my email and I'm bawling. I loved him like a daughter would love her father and then he made me hate him. I feel so sad, because my great grandma died, and it's just been so hard for me to get over, and seeing this animation makes me so sad, and when the robot misses the grandma, and dies, they both see each other, in another world, and when seeing that, and as a tear is rushing down my face, it makes me think that maybe me and my great grandma can see each other again.... My moms friend was so nice every time I would see her she would always give me candy and she would ask me if i wanted to go somewhere. Just know death is a part of life and it can be beautiful. Our loved ascend to a far better place then here so yes we should mourn them and miss them but be happy for them as well because they are now the happiest one can be in heaven. You have to live on so you too can create a family and have children and later grandchildren so you can experience the love you're had for you. You think you love your parents and grandparents well as much as we love them, the love a parent has for our children is unexplainable. You deserve to feel that love so never give up. And remember to smile for the ones you've lost because they are not gone.
