@@Zemistr3D How do I flash a new motherboard from creality that was a replacement for the original. Unfortunately, it has software dated 2020. V. 1.0.1 Don't mean to be a bother, but sure could use some help. Do you know if any classes I could sign up for to learn this stuff?

32 bit motherboards use method of updating the firmware via memory card.

Note: Whenever you unplug a wire you should probably pull on the connector instead of pulling on the wire itself...

Sure, but I have often experienced that the connector gets damaged if you use the necessary force with a plier. Also the plugs are often situated so hard to reach with your fingers that you have to either use pliers or pull on the wires. Usually the wires are connected well enough that there is no problem with pulling on the wires. I have only seen a handfull of times the wires have come loose because of them being pulled. While I have seen connectors be damaged about the same amount but it almost never be pulled with pliers. If you are able to grab the connector with enough force with your hands thats the best way, then its pulling with the wires. I would only use pliers on a connector as a last resort. This is my conclusion after 5+ years of working with electronics.

Just A Heads Up for Future reference ,If you put a few drops of rubbing alcohol on the Hot Glue it will come right off . And I liked the video .

Nice video! Step by step!! I'm doing a v4.2.2 upgrade to v4.2.7 for driver overheating reasons so very similar. A separate video on the driver heating with thermal camera images and details on effects of overheating would be great. I subscribed in anticipation 😉

Can't you just put fan speed at 1% when printing ABS to cool the mobo? or is that 1% enough to ruin your print? (never printed ABS before)

Can somebody tell me, is there always a letter on the sd card slot that corresponds to which stepper drivers you would need to install when upgrading marlin firmware?

Not sure what you mean. 🤔 If you add CRTouch, than you have to update the firmware. So... 🤷♂️

Strange... 🤔 Maybe you have used wrong cable or you connected the Z axis to the wrong connector.
