When John was taken up into the throne room of heaven, he was able to see worship from a different perspective. In our age of man-centered worship, we desperately need that change of perspective when it comes to our worship of God.

Oh, how I needed this this morning. My husband unexpectedly passed away back in September, leaving behind his nine children and I. I have days where I am on top of the mountain and other days where I am in the deepest, darkest valley. I am praying to endure to receive my reward. To see His grace and Him walking through this with me.

The series on the book of Revelation has been helpful. I'd always stay clear of it because it seemed impossible to grasp, but just four chapters in, and I'm glad I started this book the same time these sermons came out. Thank God for his word

The book of Revelation is meant to be read and preached as Doxology, and magnify our God and Lord Jesus Christ. Pastor Voddie Baucham has an amazing understanding of God's word and is one of the few pastors I know of who has the God-given ability to teach the Word of God with accuracy, clarity and profundity. Praise be to God and Lord Jesus Christ for such an amazing sermon.

I pray that people know how dangerous it is to question their faith. People need to simply obey and do what they're told/taught. There's nothing more dangerous than becoming a doubter. Looking critically at the Bible is heresy. We need to blindly follow our personal ideas of what scripture means. To be a good Christian means abandoning your powers of reason and thought. Simply find a pastor who says things that make you feel better and give him your time, energy and money. Most of all, distrust and silence that tiny voice inside you that wants you to think for yourself. Praise! Glory!

That isn't true. We should all have a good understanding of what we believe and a rational basis of why we believe it. In fact, the Bible commands us to. Otherwise, how can we give an answer for that reason of the hope that is in us? Furthermore, we are commanded to constantly examine ourselves to see if we truly are in the faith. Yes, we are not to rely on our own understanding for things, but if we simply base what pastor we have on what we feel, that is bad. The Bible tells us that the heart is deceitful and wicked above all else. You're definitely wrong here. We can't just rely on our ability to think for ourselves, but we also can't rely on what makes us "feel" good. That's still self-serving and not God-serving anyway. Rather, we need to root our rationality in something that, unlike our own understandings and our own feelings, doesn't change, and that is the truth of God's word. It is infallible and immutable, and when our powers of reason and thought, and our emotions, conform to that, it is then that we cannot fail, because God guides us, and He is incapable of error.

Multiple Second Coming Visions in Revelation: (book not in chronological order ) Christ returns one time in the future. However, there are several different visions of His return shown from different perspectives in the Book of Revelation. Christ returns at the end of Revelation chapter 6, with signs in the sun, moon, and stars, as are found in the Olivet Discourse. Those at the end of the chapter are hiding from the wrath of the Lamb. Why would they be hiding if Christ is not present? The "kings", "captains", "might men", "free", and "bond" are also found in chapter 19 at the return of Christ. He returns at the 7th trumpet, which is the last trumpet in the Bible, and the time of the judgment of the dead in Revelation 11:15-18. The beginning of chapter 12 is a history lesson containing the fall of Satan, and the birth and death of Christ, who is the seed promised to crush the head of Satan in Genesis 3:15. The Second Coming is found in the "harvest" of chapter 14, which is related to the parable of the wheat and tares in Matthew chapter 13. He comes as a thief at Armageddon, and we find the greatest earthquake in history in chapter 16. This occurs when the 7th angel pours out his vial. How powerful is an earthquake which moves islands and destroys the mountains? What is happening to the planet? He comes on a horse in chapter 19. Chapter 20? Does He come with the fire, and the judgment of the dead at the end of chapter 20, which agrees with what Paul said in 2 Thessalonians 1:7-10, and 2 Timothy 4:1? (The time of the judgment of the dead is also found in Revelation 11:18.) There are no mortals left alive on the planet at the end of Matthew 25:31-46. Why does an angel come down from heaven with a key to unlock the bottomless pit in Revelation 9:1-2, if the pit was not already locked before that time? Are there wicked angels in the pit in Rev. 9:11? If the beast "ascends" from the pit in Rev. chapter 11, where was the beast before that time? Does your view agree with Peter in 2 Pet. 2:4, and Jude in Jude 1:6, when they both said wicked angels are already in chains of darkness? Revelation 9:14 proves some of the angels were previously bound in some manner. Because the two witnesses were bodily resurrected from the dead in Revelation 11, the "first resurrection" at the beginning of Revelation 20 is not the first bodily resurrection in the book. The principle of "Recapitulation" means there are multiple visions of His return.

I would love to sit down with Voddie and graciously explain all the research that reveals that we have never gone to the moon, that NASA is a big expensive hoax, and remind him of the scriptures that the earth is covered with the firmament and the earth is not a ball....it is a circle but not a ball...just the way God created it❤
