Changing the starter on a 1996 Chevy 3500 1 ton 7.4L v8 Vortec truck.
Apparently, this is the same on Chevy trucks from 1994 to 2004… I don’t know this for sure, I have a 1996 version…
Special appearance by a few Frenchies staying with us for a month or two (or more).

Would have been nice if you said what size bolts for the battery cable on the starter, getting up and down pain in the ass

Over all how well/reliable has this truck been to you. I have always like this truck.

It's been really reliable! It's a work truck, so it doesn't have to do much except haul stuff... the ac doesn't work, the radio doesn't work very well, it's ugly, it kind of smells inside... but it hauls stuff pretty well! :)

It only has 2 actual cables that hook to it... the third "connection" is the chassis ground.
