Just remember to open your brake reservoir before pushing the caliper piston back. And be sure to pump the brake pedal before shifting into gear… I made that mistake and almost needed a new seat cover 😅

@@MEWASTREL basically, you open the resevoir so there will be no pressure when you push the caliper piston. And you pump the brakes the to bring back the pressure otherwise your brakes aint gonna brake

You really only need to change your rotors if they're worn down. And they only wear down if you pads are worn all the way down. If the surface is smooth and doesn't have any ridges then you can save a couple hundred bucks

Didn’t lube pins or pads, didn’t torque the bolts for the caliper. Gonna cause problems down the road

@@Smokey5ohhyes you do if you want your brakes to last, just did a whole brake job and my brakes were seized up due to just doing a pad slap w/ a friend. Yea you’ll have new brakes but to last for a while? Probably not. Take the time to do it all right
