Today is 24-4-2024, We were in relationship for 5 years. My man was Arijit's fan and his playlist was half filled with Arijit Singh. I didn't like this habit of him. As I used to think whatever we see or hear creates a lot of impact in our life. I would ask him to listen to happy music but he somehow he didn't listen to me. He knew that such songs irritate me so he'd tease me with this particular song "channa mereya" saying he would sing this song on my wedding day. It had become a teasing moment for us and kinda a joke topic (as he is South Indian and his way of singing literally used to make this song sound funny. I still remember his voice and the cuteness while he would sing it). Although I started to hate this song. He too stopped to sing song afterwards. Today is his wedding. (Sometimes situations force us to sacrifice the most precious thing. And for us it was our dream of being with each other. We hold the same love for each other in our hearts till today and that makes it more difficult for both of us.) Anyway he's getting married to someone else now and here I'm listening to this song. This is the first time I'm listening the full song. I never expected this day but now all I can do is pray that he is happy in his life. 🥺♥️

I learnt later this meant "My Moon"..and indeed this man took my darkness away and filled my life with peace I have never imagined. I sing this song today to our "Moon", a little girl... as her father, my man, gently smiles.
