My mom say ever Axpers when she mean brother, which dialekt of armenian is this? Cause High armenian spiken by politicians would say yahpayr!

If I'm not mistaken, "Axper" is eastern Armenian or more colloquial, whereas "Yeghpayr" is Western or more proper.

Thank you very much! I will definitely get to Medieval Armenia. I'm slowly working my way in chronological order, but now and then I find a fascinating story and break that order. But I will get there, promise!

I make videos about Armenian history, so I can answer from that perspective: When nationalists embellish our history as they sometimes tend to do, it can be off-putting for a person who is genuinely interested to learn our history, Armenian or not. At least, that's how it was for me in high school! I think our history is very rich and interesting, whether it is told by the Romans, the Persians, or Us. It would be a shame to cheapen it with zealotry.

“Nationalism” (Dashnaks) destroyed our country and continue to do so by siding with corrupt politicians. If you guys care about making Armenia a better place, get out of the ARF bubble and use some logic that is not regurgitated from the mouth of Kocharyan.

@@user-tg6ug6nc2o I was referring to the modern Dashnak party which is corrupt and destructive no matter which country they are located in. In Beirut and Tehran they have practically been a corrupt mafia, in Armenia they have worked side by side with corrupt politicians that cared more about buying houses in Greece than using tax dollars to better their country. Even in the United States, the Dashnak party has called for the assassination of Pashinyan and have falsely claimed that Pashinyan rigged the elections. Both of which are not constructive from any point of view. Now it is your turn, tell me how the “Nationalists” Kocharyan and Serj have not destroyed our country.
