Forgot that you don´t get enough shield arms.. But with the dagger and/or cutting down some choppas, easily fixed good enough. :) I love those Orcs.

The chariots and command sprue are the same that were in the WHFB 6th ed. starter. The Orc command sprue has parts labeled A, B, and C corresponding to Orc Boss (foot or mounted), standard bearer, and musician. The goblin sprues are labeled A and B and include parts to make wolf riders. I haven't tried it yet but I think WH40k Fenrisian Wolves should work to make some goblin riders.

I haven't delved into building the kits yet and good to know that you can make some wolf riders as I have a few extra wolf models that need building.

Great buy on this boxed set Rusty! I actually like seeing these old sprues brought back out. They fit with people's old collections and are easier to paint than the newer ultra detailed, super sized models from GW. Very cool!!

That's one nice thing about the older models is the limited amount of doodads on them and easier to paint. Having a simple model is a good thing for painting up a mass battle army vs a skirmish game system

its really fun, and the models are pretty easy to paint in comparison to modern minis XD

@@FluteGnome The newer models have way too much detail for just a mass battle game, maybe for a small skirmish type system.

That’s a great price I see it’s $200 CAN on gw’s website so I am imagining suggested US retail would be closer to $147

I just looked at the GW website and its 170$ for the Battalion boxset, so one heck of a price for it, so less than 1.60$ per model is awesome price and He got the Orc & Goblin also in that price

Yea, GW adjusts prices per market so U.S. and Australia always get hit hard and they have rules in place so that you can't order from outside your area. Being in the U.S., I did find a place in Canada that shipped here so I saved a few but the next time I went to order from them they had the "orders from outside of Canada will be cancelled" disclaimer on their GW page.

Yes swapping out a melee are for a gun arm does the trick very well.

Wish they brought the night goblin 6th regiments in plastic back. The newer ones are way too small !

Thanks Al, I have a couple units of Night Goblin models to start painting, it might be the same thing as the Tomb Kings and slowly over the next 3 months or so painting up complete units before moving on to the next one. That approach seemed to work very well this last time and kept me focused

Those Night Goblins are smaller than Skaven in size!
