Channel Zapping on FiOS

After seeing all of the channel zapping videos from pay-TV services around the world, I noticed a distinct lack of channel-change videos from America. So here's mine.
Recorded January 7, 2012 in Brooklyn NY.

guess u had the ult package 'cuz of FUNI channel (or just likes sports or to have everything) you forgot the >1500 channels though lol Glad to see this. Brings back memories and can't believe its been /that/ long since we have fios.

I just realized something: The 2012-2013 music of Encore Love also remains missing. And I’m looking for a better quality audio of the 2012-2013 Encore Westerns music. If any Starz & Encore fanatic here can help me out with what the 2012-2013 music of Encore Love and Encore Westerns truly sounded like (respectively), let me know, please? Thanks! I still wish we can see more Encore stuff, in those early days of them using the 2012-2013 music (aside from the main Encore channel and their relative Encore Action). Did Encore Drama and Encore Love really use the 2012-2013 music, in the old 2005 Feature Presentation bumpers, for the duration of January/February 2012?

@@AdrianTheAmazingGuy2005 Except, ColonielLizardT4 never had access to Encore Drama, nor Encore WAM/Family at all, since CDE Lightband never offered those 2 particular Encore channels.

@@AdrianTheAmazingGuy2005 Good thing there’s partial proof that, during January/February 2012, on Encore Suspense, they were already using the 2012-2013 music, but still used the old 2005 background from Encore Mystery at the time: m.kzfaq.info/get/bejne/sN59fc91tNquhJc.html

I’d imagine if we can see that 2005-2011? Encore Drama Feature Presentation bumper using that 2012-2013 music, preceding that January 7th, 2012 airing of Eight Men Out. And don’t forget that this was also around the time Encore already underwent the music change (retired the old music from 2005). Then, later on in March 2012, right there, all of the Encore channels eventually phased in their proper 2012 refresh.

The fact that they had the Funimation Channel shoved in the middle of the kids channels is telling...the show they had on in this video (Chrome Shelled Regios) is TV-MA.

FiOS hasn't come to my area (and is unlikely to...), but it's the only service beside DirecTV I'd consider (unless I was in a place where I couldn't get DirecTV)

Holy shit thats alot of channels! If i were to flick through all of mine it would probably take 2 minutes max. I have Foxtel Platinum. $124 a month. No HD (because its "not avaliable" aka they refuse to install it because we dont have two coax leads going to our set. we tried, the sales people on the phone said it was "oh yes its fine well send someone out in two weeks" but when he got there he just stared at it for about 5 minutes and said "nope". i mean come on why the fuck would you send someone out if you know that they wont install it! we told you "we only have one line"! not to mention the constant cuts in signal and faulty boxes. we need to run a fucking converter for it too, the box they give you uses SCART!!!!!!!!!!!) this really turned into a rant. im also in australia. i spose you would have guessed that

Don't be impressed by the number of channels; 75% of them are garbage, just there to inflate the channel count. US cable TV is like that.

***** wow im two years late but same here... most of our channels are actually dupes for people lucky enough to have HD service in their area, 2 hour rebroadcast channels, or those random international channels that noone watches. So we basically have like 20 in total but hundreds and hundreds advertised. however we now have Netflix and other streaming services so fuck pay TV (except for live sports where they have the exclusive rights to broadcast).
