Yes but those things are relatively easy. Not everybody does them, but you’re supposed to be there for your family. To be “successful” you have be better than average. However, if he did mean it literally the only way he will manage that is if he is wealthy or he goes the mail order route. my husband is a workaholic, now at 35 he is saying exactly what she is saying. He's tired. But he's been working 7am-2am for about 9 years now. senior managers don't get breaks in pharma. Just because he once enjoyed his work and he cares about doing it right doesn't mean it's 'me time' i've seem him get really depressed at times but kept going. he's also pushing for less waste in the company. Open your eyes, the world isn't as black and white as you see it. Wanting to work well and be proud of your career isn't the same as 'me time'
