Jetmir's garden lets misty rainforest get red besides being a red / green dual land for your splashes. It was probably worth taking over a card you know you won't play.

Should have pivoted out of red into green in pack 2 when red was drying up, there was plenty of room for a control deck with green value cards and you already had the triome

intresting thing about these cube drafts is that no one seems to read open color signals. like it this draft white was definitely open and black was very dry

In vintage cube it’s more about reading open archetypes, since so many cards are strong and can even be build arounds

I’d guess half or more of the drafters in every draft are novice to amateur players that are doing it purely for fun or are just curious about cube drafting in general. They aren’t pros or even people that play in paper at the LGS very often so I think it’s simply a lack of skill/knowledge about drafting and specifically drafting cube and knowing the synergies within the cube.

A ub fetchable duel is definitely a high pick, even p1p1'able. Is it better then frantic search, which has an argument for top 10 strongest cards in this cube. It has more interactions then any other card. You can definitely play a control deck and play the 3/1 flash flyers as you're only win cons. Its actually one of the better decks in the cube. Highly consistent. Ux, splashing permanent removal. Little dull considering the decks you can draft, but it wins. Edit: if there was a criticism i have of the mtgo vintage cube its that it slants to the bottom of the class, understandably, and the simple decks like white wheenie, the mountains win again, (almost)monoblue draw go all have redundant pieces making them hard to crash draft and easy to play without ever learning the older cards that do stupid stuff.
