Yes! Finally! A doco celebrating what's probably the most raw, genuine and down to earth neighbourhood in SG. Think what you want of Geylang, but one thing everyone can agree on: Geylang just doesn't give a s**t. Geylang does what Geylang does.

Wah the cultural shop owner guy so calming and so nice, let her try out and touch everything including the erhu and scrolls. And he has a calm white samoyed dog in hot sg. He is goals la. Nowadays we sgreans so curt and rude.

I've lived in Geylang for 6 months trying to find a job and staying with my Aunt and at night Geylang lit, lots of bars but at day time it's quiet and it's nice to walk around to check out the shops and foods are really good. I would love to visit SG again maybe soon with my husband.

The food in Geylang is really cheap and delicious 👌 I missed the travelers that I met in Lodge 41, the hostel where we stayed. I also missed the moment where we ate dinner together with the hostel owner.

even here in Jakarta most of us knew Geylang exactly the same as the uncle said, red light district. but when we went there, tbh ended up flock to the street food which are mostly delicious with affordable price tag..haha..
