Please provide Development to every part of Nigeria, provide electricity to encourage building industries in remote areas to decongest the major cities, I don’t care how much you give me I will not want to live in Lagos regardless of the area because I still want to drive around not just in the neighborhood

LASG needs to set up Anti-Slum unit under the environmental protection ministry. The purpose will be to patrol coastal areas, bridges, train station, estates, etc, to make sure open spaces are not converted to slums. Too much nonsense in Lagos.

Even in advance countries governments are not just demolish houses….. they build so many towers that each can accommodate minimum of 1000 people for lower class to rent…. Towers are not for rich

Why should Lagos govt pay them? this mindset needs to stop. They should stay in their villages instead of coming to lagos to make it a slum. Lagos govt doesn`t owe anyone from anywhere anything except lagos` legal inhabitants.

Everyone should go and farm in their villages. No one should be living in slums in Lagos. It is despicable and should not be allowed. This is how modernised and developed countries lived, and Nigerians should not be different.

It is high time the government started to plan the environment embracing development framework and development plan that would delineate every landuse, guide and control every building proposal. Building indiscriminately degrades the environment and here lies the missing link between underdeveloped and developed countries.

If Nigerian government does the right thing all these years providing housing, developing states, providing jobs for its citizens, will Nigeria be like this? In this terrible harsh economic crisis they destroy homes with women & children inside n u say they should go back to their villages. Which village? U are u a Lagos breed? Lagos is for everybody n every Nigerian deserve right to breathe! It’s a pity the govt failed Nigeria. N the rulers are carting and looting untold millions & billions of Naira while the whole country lies waste

If you are doing such a thing then have a plan where to house these people? Where do they sleep this nights & henceforth? They can’t sleep on the streets? Ewooo Chineke biko help us. We are infact unable to govern the land. The land is too big for us. You have already demolished the area and then saying they should go and register!!! No no!!! The accounting and full documentation of those living there should have been done 1st! But of cos Nigeria till today has no record of its citizens, no addresses no head count! Big shame

Lagos needs adequate planning. Even the bible say to do things in “orderly” manner. City infrastructure has to be orderly. Not scattered in untidiness.
