Please these politicians are doing bad and will continue to do it. The best bet is to ask for things like 1) Free health insurance services to all levels to up to Level 12 and other low income earners all over the country 2) subsidized percentage energy vouchers to all income earners in the country because bills will be the same as the rich people 3) food vouchers for low income earners 4) Free education to citizens according people's learning capabilities, etc because even if they pay N1,000,000 as minimum it won't be enough as minimum wage and the naira continue to to be less valuable...

O sir i just listened to your conversations on tv i pray and hope these so called leaders would listen and harken to the words of wisdom because we are presently sitting on a keg of gun powder. Nigeria was never this way when our present non-challant leaders were growing up! They got everything free to study abroad. Now you can imagine after swallowing our resources the want our kids to have education on loan in their own country 😢can you imagine that! We are monitoring things in this country and i tell you every berger must pay dearly for the unnecessary hardship caused. Our God (Allah) would not let things go on this way. Lastly it shows that Nigerians are not short of intelligent young and purposeful leaders its just time that we await to put the old stuffs where they belong. Salaam.

Where is the money coming from when they wants loot and award project that doesn't measure up.
@samchs222
@samchs222 27 күн бұрын
@@richardenaohwo7131 they take debt and use money from actual projects that should be implemented. There are real projects that should be done and government will always borrow and steal from that because you will always need good roads but can survive without having it if someone steals it. The money for increased salary is actually far bigger than money for projects and government cannot really steal that. They may delay payment it but they must pay people they employ. Government does not produce money. They may take debts to pay for salaries but at some point they have to pay back debt and still pay same salary rate. You can trust Tinubu to increase taxes on all kinds of stuff just to get more revenue which means more money available to steal. Best way to go is to reduce the size of the government. Not a popular opinion in Nigeria but anyone that has good level of knowledge how things work know this.

If you have been living in a rock and you just came out today and then you are asking this question "where will the money come from" I will understand.... @samchs222
@samchs222 27 күн бұрын
@@kendrisobono6972 I know logic and reason is void among you Nigerians but it will be too much to expect it from you. Multiply 500k by all the civil servants across local state and federal government. How much is that? And that's just minimum wage. At best, Oga on top will earn 10 times of minimum wage and you have many people in between that will earn about 2 times minimum wage. Please use common sense

Some states like Anambra have been paying N25,000 to workers instead of N30,000 since 2019. So, Anambra state owes each worker a backlog of N5,000 monthly for the past 5 years on salary alone. It is owing pensions since around 2010 or longer. NLC should focus on states.
