I am disgusted by a lot of the remarks here that suggests that change's husband hooked her up with this. Are you all saying that she doesn't deserve this break? Look at her body of music! She's been astounding for the last 20+ years! She's still beautiful and can hit whistle and other registers like it's nothing. You all conveniently forget that without Mottola, Mariah wouldn't have been heard of. This is completely INSANE. The was the most amazing performance I have seen in a long time vocally. Also, she is aging backwards..still look young as ever. Leave it to BET shows to honor all the greats and not forget about them. This woman should be invited to sing live at grammys, ama's, billboard receiving praise every where. She is a vocal Goddess! Forgive me, but I did not know she could blow like this. I had my TV on BET and the volume turned up just a lil bit to hear her singing and I wasn't paying attention at first. Cause I was focused doing something else. And I caught the part where she wss sitting down and was like hold up. Chante can sing, made me turn my TV all the way up lol. After that amazing performance, I love how there’s that look of vulnerability and relief she has in her eyes after nailing every note and move, flawlessly. With all that talent, she clearly doesn’t take it for granted and that quick look on her face really shows the beautiful and humble person she is. It’s really nice to see Chante Moore get the accolades and recognition she deserves. And on top of that voice, she is still beautiful, and it’s been 30 years since her debut album.

Not everyone in the entertainment industry had plastic surgery. Maybe good skin care routines, etc. I'm the same age and people can't believe my age. Genetics and staying away from drugs and alcohol helps. I don't believe she had any procedures.

She has TREMENDOUS control over her instrument, great chest belt, head voice, crystal clear whistle but most important of all she has a BEAUTIFUL poised and refined TONE. note that many people can hit high notes, whistles ect... but having a unique beautiful tone on top of all those abilities makes her special.
