Thanks a lot Chantel, my family and I have been searching for a 2019 Lsv 22 all summer (2023) and your videos have been great to watch. And afters months of searching we finally bought one just waiting for it to get shipped to our home in Washington state (should be here next week). Thanks for all the help with your very informative videos. keep it up!👊

Thanks Chantel, very helpful. A few questions: Can you give me your opinion on the M5 vs. the M6 for the 22 LSV? We live in Idaho and boat on the lower-elevation Boise area reservoirs but also will sometimes boat on Payette, Island Park or Bear Lake (all 5K ft. plus). Is the M5 enough with 10 people and full ballast, and can the M5 get up to slalom speed with 10 people on? I don't want to have an under-powered boat. Also, on the the diamond hull, how good is this hull for slalom skiers (I know it won't be slalom-boat quality), and how much on wakeboarding / wakesurfing will the diamond hull impact these two activities? Many thanks for your feedback.

Hi Mark! I would go with the M6. I really like the bigger engine and if it's something you are already worried about, it is worth the money. The diamond hull does make the wake softer for slalom skiing - like you said, not slalom boat quality, but pretty good. Unless you have a pro wakeboarder and they ride the diamond hull and the wake hull back to back, you would be hard pressed to tell the difference. For surfing, the diamond hull doesn't make a difference - it only matters when the boat gets up on plane.

Hi Chantel we are in Australia and have enjoyed your videos. We are comparing the 21vlx and 22lsv both in the diamond hill. we have 4 kids ranging from 8-13 years old that enjoy everything from barefoot, water skiing, wakeboarding, surfing. which boat would you recommend? Thanks

Hi Tim! I think the 21VLX is a better crossover for skiing, but if you are going to be doing more surfing, the 22LSV would be better. I would also think about the size of your crew, if you are going to have 8 or more people a lot of the time, the 22LSV would be much more comfortable! Either way, you'd get an awesome boat!
