Thing I found strange about this was the way that the employee was insulting you for having an old phone, cheap shoes etc...Of all the places to degrade someone for lacking the appropriate standards of wealth within society, Job Centre is one of the worst possible lol. Just goes to show his character....

TLA: "I was filming and this guy comes out and assaults me." Policeman: "Yeah, that's because you were filming." So having acknowledged the assault, he does nothing. No arrest. No caution. Nothing. Wow, I'm shocked that an employee/agent at a job centre would have this attitude. He obviously feels disdain for the poor clients attending the job centre.

This is a review that was made 2 months ago on google - had a horrible experience at this job centre, the guy with dreadlocks is the most rudest customer service manager i have ever experienced which provided NO help whatsoever and made me feel so low and manipulated me, he has no manners and respect, if you have an appointment with Darren do NOT go. he doesn’t know what he’s doing and is very lazy, everyone else in the job centre is lovely. this guy should NOT be a customer service manager, he doesn’t know how to handle customers. avoid him at ALL costs!

I worked in Peckham JCP, for a number of years as a security officer. Many of the staff there are ABSOLUTELY embarrassing and very unprofessional to many members of the public. I worked for G4s. Who are also a bloody embarrassment, many guards were not trained properly, and very good at causing unnecessary situations with the public. On many occasions I defused many moments that were caused by the terrible unprofessional attitudes of the JCP staff. It was and still is a bloody shambles. No matter what other people say.

That employee lacks the decorum that what you would expect to find in a government services establishment. We need to say no to the lowering of standards thank you very much.

Absolutely disgusting , but sadly, totally expected. If I behaved like that in my place of work, i would get instantly dismissed

Job centres are nuts places, the number of times I've been in them when the security escalated problems rather then solved them is unbelievable, I'd be frightened of working in one not because of the claimants but the security egging on angry and possibly mentally ill people to do stuff like arson, its mad.

We should get together and do a mass audit of this place the behaviour was a disgrace and the police are ok to arrest u for public order and breach of the peace but not vice versa. This guy commited a hate crime made clear references to your employment status according to him. Made comments about your mental health which anyone who heard would find offensive. Commented on your clothing and dress. All which can be classed as a hate crime directed at someone. Imagine if u had gone in and said that to one of there staff or a member of the public you would of been arrested immediately and his threatening nature including the directed violence with the way he had his hands in your face etc was enough to cause anyone watching alarm and distress. I found it so just watching him behave like that towards you. It’s due to people like him I had agrophobia for years scared to venture out in case I came across someone like him. Now had u made any of the actions or statements he made the police would of arrested u on the spot. I hope a police complaints been filed and also a iopc complaint for the officers who refused to take your complaint seriously and ignored the fact a crime had been commited by that tyrant. His colleagues stood by and watched while he abused a member of the public and did nothing to de escalate the situation at all g4 goons in action for sure. I’ve a disability I film due to memory issues and it’s discrimination for them not to allow something that may aid the person who has the disability clearly discrimination of people in there policies. I have to visit this place and see if for medical reasons they allow me to film if they do then it’s clearly discrimination against others. I know they make allowances but imagine if I was visiting with a genuine need to film and I was treated like this by those goons. One of the best audits but also shows the worst of the worst out there. Making derogatory comments because he thinks ur unemployed imagine how his clients now think of how he views them. Not how any manager should behave and I’ll be making complaints directly with dwp about this myself.
