Furious protesters screaming “Close the border” heckled Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Rep. Jerry Nadler and other Democrats Friday as they were holding a press conference on the Big Apple’s escalating migrant crisis.
The New York pols were drowned out by the angry screams outside the Roosevelt Hotel mega-shelter in Midtown on Friday morning.
“Send them back,” one man shouted as the chaotic scenes unfolded outside the city’s main migrant intake site.

Used to live in NYC for more than a decade went back this year for a vacation and to show my child the city. It was the worst trip ever it felt unsafe it stunk downtown and it was just disgusting. I would never again spend my money to visit NY it has fallen a long ways from it's glory days. The whole line that "immigrants make America a great place" yes they do but it needs to be done the correct way.

My wife, daughter and I left nyc in a heartbeat. America failed us and it’s sad to see it deteriorating in front of our eyes. I feel for the citizens who are deeply impacted by this on a daily basis.
