Chaos erupts following announcement of preferred AmaZulu King

Күн бұрынThe late AmaZulu regent - Queen Mantfombi Dlamini Zulu - has proposed in a letter that her oldest son - the 46-year old Prince Misuzulu Zulu ascend the throne. This wish was expressed in a letter to the Traditional Prime Minister Prince Mangosuthu Buthelezi in a letter dated the 23rd of March. This was shortly after Queen Mantfombi was appointed regent - whose task it was to oversee the succession of the throne. The letter and her will have been read to members of the royal family by Advocate TG Madonsela. The Queen says in the letter that her proposal is subject to approval by the royal family.
