Gent scents is the worst for it. Tries to make cheesy jokes and they miss every time. I appreciate the thought of trying to make his own video more entertaining to the viewer…however Dallas’ approach is much more to my taste 🤙

Gents scents absolutely, no body cares about his gurning except for the time wasting. I could not give a toss on the packaging or the bottle or if copies something. All I want to know is the fragrance

Has anyone purchased any of these very inexpensive fragrances and developed a rash or skin irritation when spraying on skin? I’ve read comments on other channels that some people got a rash.

And the performance is so much better.

@@ApriliaRacer14 Exactly. It’s making these higher end brands look more and more ridiculous for selling their fragrances for $200+. A fragrance that smells damn near the same, has better performance and has better presentation, but only costs $20. It makes you realize that these companies are way overpriced on their fragrances.

​@@405FragrancesMy only concern is, are these middle eastern brands using safe and good ingredients? If someone can confirm that it's good enough, I'll abandon designer perfumes. The prices of these designer perfumes are getting ridiculous. Recently I saw designer perfumes going for $100-150. In the same store, I saw Tom Ford Tobacco Vanille and Ombre leather for $175. I would rather get them which have somewhat got ingredients than designer perfumes which are mostly synthetic as well.

@@danlightened recently binge buying lots of these middle eastern clones since a year ago. No problems at all so far with my skin. Either they are from Lattafa, Fragrance World, Paris Corner, or Afnan.

But I heard from many the performance is bad. How is it with yours?

I have both the Lattafa and Ultra Male and actually prefer the Lattafa. For me it has more longevity and a smoother drydown

@@SamiiRSMT I spray about 6-8 times and get 5-6 hours . What can you expect for under $20. For that price you can spray at will ! Two great cheapies I think you should try are Pepe Jeans Celebrate and my personal favorite Rasasi Fattan ( a Terre D'hermes clone ) that is dirt cheap !

@@DuSeun No 🤡! I’m simply trying to open his/her eyes to the game these companies play. They put “unisex” so both men and women will buy it and they make more money. If the person that smells it is too ignorant to tell if it’s female or male that’s on them. Or maybe they are in mid transition and are kind of in the closet about what they really want!😤

Hey, I never smelled Sauvage Elixir before but heard so many good things about Asad. Is it blind buy worthy even though summer is coming

I personally don't like the synthetic blast of Sauvage. Is Sauvage Elixir different from it?

It's surprising to hear you say that it's weak. Especially considering you got the intense version, it should be nuclear level intensity. I recommend leaving it for 5-6 months. Try Supremacy NOI Extrait De Parfum and Club De Nuit Intense LE as well.

I just got in my GiT yesterday. It's nice and soapy and ozonic. I prefer the drydown though about an hour after. Tres Nuit is supposedly a sweeter version

@@Seasniffer69 indeed. I have had a few samples of GIT and have had several different clones. I really like GIT but when I can get a very very close clone for drastically less expensive, im going with the clone.

@@NTHunt I feel ya. I had been saving for 2 months for this creed and fragrance net sent me a heck of a good coupon for creed. I've not tried tres but I might. I like GiT but I definitely don't love it. I liked creed viking A LOT more and aventus more than that but I won't get aventus bc it's overplayed.

Amber Oud Carbon basically smelled like Cool Water. I think i prefer Tres Nuit more.

My batch of Club de Nuit Intense (early batch) smells 100% like Lemon Pledge cleaner and is obnoxious in the opening. So much so it has become and air freshener in the bathroom. Very disappointing but heard they reformulated to remove the “in your face” metallic lemon opening. Very disappointing.

There's probably true but for over half the world, a niche perfume costs more than their monthly income.

I believe it's almost like a placebo, u spent 150 plus on something? Your mind doesn't want a 20 buck clone to be better js... so it won't lol

I just bought one bottle of TF extreme parfum for over $200, the Blue channel i usually but has doubled, it’s now over $200…Everything is getting crazy expensive!? I’m going to try a couple of dupes to see if they’re worth the overhyped colognes they represent, I just don’t see the value in my purchasing model: Income vs Availability vs Value vs Cost

To me Givenchy Gentleman EDP and Dior Homme Intense smell pretty similar. You really should try it

The one Lattafa perfume international reviewers don't seem to talk about much is Lattafa Raghba, a clone of 24 gold by Scentstory. I've been into perfumes since 3-4 years, and when I ordered a sample of 24 gold, it was love at first sniff. I consider it in my top 5. I'm sure there are better perfumes, but I haven't had the chance to try many niche perfumes. When I heard a reviewer talk about its clone for $15, I blind bought it and it's pretty similar. There's some nuances of 24 gold missing but it's still quite good.

Then buy barrakat rouge 540. Same fragrance same bottle. A tenth of the price.

It just doesn't make sense to me to buy a bottle for 300-400 just for the brand when I can get some way literally dirt cheap but I see wym its the bottle and brand you want

Idc how the bottle looks I care about how the smell is the trajectory and how long it lasts.

how long does it last coz alot of people are complaining about performance issues, I'm really tempted to get this.

I'm asking for the same thing, tried numerous clones and none are close to the original but the original longevity really sucks lol

I wanted to buy but have heard from many people you will get 4-5 hours max . So it's a pass for me . Paris Corner Emir also has a clone called Trillium , and that one is supposed to have even worse performance !

I halfway agree I bought electimuss trajon which is similar DNA to br540 and I go noseblind to it to an extent but everyone else can smell it same with untold I just think it's the DNA. However that being said thomas kosmala number 4 après l’Amour is nuclear and too much of that DNA in most settings

I think it's more that some people can't drop +$200 at once. Or, as in my case, I'm just getting into collecting. So I got a bottle of Exclusif Bleu 2oz + Versace Dylan 3.4oz + & D&G The One 3.4oz + Armaf Hunter + Lattafa Fakhar 3.4oz + Lattafa Asad 3.4oz, for around $220, as opposed to that 1 bottle for $200. Im sure as I get more into niche frags, it'll change. But for now, I'll stay under $100/btl. Lol, that's how, in one month, I was able to spend less than 2k & build my collection from 4 btl to 32. So, in theory, I could have bought layton, but I have more of a variety with 30+ bottles than I would have spending $200+/btl. Ya know?

I get both sides,economical is always good but I’ve also spent on some more expensive ones Creed,TF from discounters. Been a fraghead since a kid thanks to uncles and dad. I just bought VDB,Al Haramain AmberOud Bleu Edition(BDC Clone),Armaf Sillage, Lattafa’s Quan Al and Rave Now EDP. All for right around 200. Lookin forward to them gettin in this Friday

Lol, On a video about "clones that could replace the original," I find it hard to imagine that the majority watching are willing and / or able to spend the $200/btls. I'm not sure how many people start out buying $200/btls right off the bat. But from what I've seen in the frag community. That's usually not the case. You've been collecting frags since a kid, right? So it makes sense that you would. Although, I've always had a few bottles of cologne since I'm young. Back when Gravity, Tommy, cool water, & ck one were some of the go-to's, lol. I just started to really enjoy the art of collecting. So, I'm fortunate enough to have found my passion for frags when clones and / or "off brand" can be just as good as some of the niche frags.

Even if some are able to go for the pocket burners out the gate,I personally wouldn’t recommend,it’s just not necessary especially if you don’t know what you like..But to each their own. Diversity and discovery of what one likes should be the focus in the beginning. Find your lanes then you can go for different price tiers if wanted.I’ve always had a 3-5 bottle rotation since a kid, usually Aqua Di Gios,Issy Mayakis, Abercrombie’s, Tommy Hilfiger’s,Cool Water and Curve.Haha It may sound crazy for a kid,definitely didn’t come from money, but that’s what I’d ask for Christmas/bday etc...I’d say my true “collecting” started around 2017 though.I had a decent base of 8-10 frags before I grabbed a few hefty priced ones,and still used discounters. Clones have really made a statement within the last 2-3 years from what I’ve seen and I’ll gladly pick them up and sit them next to Creed Royal Oud/GIT.It’s not about brands,it’s the juice…I’ll suggest you grab Woody Oud by Al Hambra. Beautiful recreation of TF Oud Wood,if you’re into that profile.

Lol, Gravity, Tommy, cool water, and ck one were from 6th grade-HS. I graduated in 2002. Then I started making my own money, and then switched to the other's. Lol, but I have a bottle of ea for memory sake. I haven't much got into ouds yet. What's your opinion of them, as in what do you like about them? See, I love the frag community beyond any other. No matter the difference of opinion. We can still have great dialog and still remain cordial.

What was performance like?

@@enrique8190 In first hour it smels almost like Elixir, not that deep and "expensive"/"rich", but solid. It projects good and strong. After one hour that vanilla note is becoming more and more present and it ruins the whole impression, because it smels cheap. After one hour it's losing that Elixir direction and going in it's own way, which I didn't like. I don't exactly remember how long it lasts, I sold it soon after I bought it. But I think it was solid with performance.

Just get the Bentley, it’s the same juice. Michel Almairac has sold the same creation under three different brands (“Papyrus Oud 71” by his own brand Parle Moi de Parfum is the latest release).

Where is Al Haramain from? There's one here in Mumbai, India.

@@danlightened TBH I have no idea, I wasn't even aware of it until about two months ago actually. Been getting into the "Frags" side of You Tube is how I was introduced to it, and I've heard all great things about them. Also, they have a large lineup too, for example, the "Blue Edition" is like Bleu de Chanel, etc... Many people claim Armaf and Al Haramain are the best replicating designer, name brand fragrances.

@@geico1975 I know Armaf, Lattafa, Afnan are popular for clones. Al Haramain here is also popular, but for their attars. That's why I'm wondering if the one I'm talking about and the one you're mentioning are the same or not.

I don’t consider Missoni Wave a clone, it smells very similar but it has its own thing going on. I prefer Missoni over Chanel and Versace. It’s just like an upgraded version and better. I wish it lasted longer on my skin.

@@ka0h_ If a fragrance smells at least 90% similar to an original fragrance, I consider it a clone. People say it is a hybrid between Chanel AHS and Versace Pour Homme, but I believe it smells a lot closer to the Chanel. Main difference being that the Chanel smells higher quality (obviously) and the Missoni Wave is a little sweeter. But like I said, to my untrained nose it smells 90-95% like Chanel AHS. I get about 6-7 hours longevity, which is pretty decent for my skin.

@@EzeAsuoha it’s good bro for the price you really can’t beat it definitely would by it again I usually go about 7-8 sprays so it lasts. Also tried the “yeah! By mason alhambra” that one was really good as well for a everyday scent real clean 👍

Not very good either. The issue with that scent is it seems to use notes that just don't last very long even if they use high quality ingredients or not. With elysium I get about 6-7 hours, which is honestly good enough for a regular workday. You don't need it to last any longer, just reapply if you're going out later or something. You should start to accept that some fragrance styles don't last long, even in the niche version of said scents.

He says untold is every utuber I have watched say untold is better than 540 cause it’s dead on in smell but untold is stronger longer lasting. Finding a bottle is problem right now unless u do eBay
