Thanks for that, a great memory for me. I did the Corridour Route in 1963 and again in 2021. The two main changes are the erosion of the path and changes in gear! Weather the same! Much appreciated.

Fantastic video as always. I really appreciate you showing exactly what the paths are like and where a slight scramble is required. As I’ve got older I’ve developed vertigo and a fear of scree so it’s helpful to see exactly which routes I could manage and which might be beyond me.

I did this walk in April this year and many times and my goodness the waterfall is absolutely breathtaking. Whist at the waterfall looking around its like something from Switzerland just gorgeous. everyone needs take this route up Scarfell Pike. However, I always found Scarfell Pike a boring summit and very disappointing. But the Corridor route is something very special indeed. Piers Gill is spectacular and I could spend all day just there at Piers Gill. Scarfell Pike is (definitely not) my favourite summit so disappointing. Many times I have told people heading up Scarfed Pike to go up the corridor Route as this is way better experience than Scarfed Pike summit. This is defiantly the best route buy far. and I much rather spend more time at Mickedore, Lords Rake and PiersGill these are incredible places of outstanding beauty to behold. way more spectacular than Sarfell Pikes boring summit. Outstanding video Glenn and definitely the best route up Scrfell Pike... 💗....👍👍👍

I remember doing the corridor route after watching you do it last time. Tried to follow your route off OS maps, parked at Seathwaite Farm, but ended up coming up over Base Brown and making my own route down the other side of Green Gable towards Styhead Tarn!! Dont ask me how. Anyway, after doing the rest of the route successfully, I remember getting the point after Ruddy Gill where you drop into Seathwaite and thinking the same. "Why is the car not getting any closer!" 😫😂 brilliant video as usual. Thank you!!

Another great video, thanks for sharing this beauty. We did the route in reverse in bonkers heat 🥵 and when you looked back at Broad Crag col and said "soul crushing view" that was my thoughts exactly 😫. The corridor route has been on my must do list for a couple of years now. Shows it off superbly in this video, looks so much more interesting than plodding up scafell pike from Wasdale. Views down those gullies off Lingmell remind me of looking down the gullies off the summit of ben Nevis north face, on a smaller scale.

Best route is start from Seathwaite, go up Grains Gill and get to Esk Hause- admire the view. Get to Great End and admire the view even more. Then take the path to Scafell Pike to reach the top. Come down a bit and stop at Lingmell, then descend via the Corridor Route to come to Styhead Tarn, and then return to Seathwaite. The best of your Southern Fell Wainwrights was the Bow Fell one when Bow Fell was snowed up.

And if you can do it whilst holding a camera. Gives me a fighting chance without one. Could you spend a second or two longer. When you spin round showing the fell tops. Very useful.
