Interesting that you called us ‘tale end Charlie’s’😊, first time I’ve had the pleasure of watching you and Finn, and I will be watching you both again, I found your voice too very restful and you’ve shown me parts of the Lake Dustrict I’ve never seen before so Thank you both. 👍😊

Great video pal, and yes I,am a tail end Charlie lol, I have just bought a campervan and found this very informative, just as you go into buttermere pass the church on the right, can you park there with a campervan? Have you ever done this gregg? As I would love to stay overnight there and go for a dusk stroll around buttermere pal, where you parked at 1:07 at end of video ? Take care

A lovely area I did a 3 day around there Buttermere, car camped on honister pass as well as where you were. My problem is I don't want to leave. I did half of Buttermere. I can only manage lowlands atm but working on getting more strength in my legs. I love my car camps. 😂

A superb compilation, deserves to be seen by 3.7M not 3.7k. Lived on the edge of the National Park for 45 years now and I wish I had seen this back in ‘79 when I arrived. It would have given me an even greater incentive to explore it more. Well done and thank you!

The trick in weather like that is to hunker down in a bivi bag alongside a large rock. The wind can then do whatever it wants.

(respectfully) as a fairly casual cyclist, middle of the road because it minimises the risk of dodgy overtakes, means you can only overtake when it's actually safe to do so, you also avoid sudden drains and stuff like that and have space to move out of the way for potholes. (hope this helps) also cycling through the countryside is an experience like no other, although i tend to avoid riding in roads like this in favour of quieter back roads and do also tend to pull over if traffic is queueing up behind me

I use two Nya-Evo Assistant 1.5 pouches on my F-Stop Tilopa belt by using the molle webbing. Easy to attach and to remove and very useable for small accessories, snacks and telephone.

Cyclist here. Because of the amount of crap in the gulleys of the road.

Another great video Glenn and such a beautiful location. I was involved in the National 3 Peaks last Tuesday evening and while up Scafell Pike, we to saw an Apache helicopter over towards Haystacks. Seems to be coming more regular these days.

Tail End Charlie! Loved your video. Incidentally I was in Grasmere / Ambleside for a couple of days camping in the grounds of Rydal Hall. My first stop The Travellers Rest for some Fish n Chips. Some excellent photography for the collection. Keep up the good work and if ever up in Scotland give me a shout. I'd be happy to show you around.
