In this video we recap everything you need to know about the Chapter 4 Season 1 update a long with which shotgun I think is the best to use this Chapter!
Today we recieved a whole new different loot pool with new shotguns being added such as the Thunder Pump shotgun which closely resembles the old pump shotgun, the scar returning in different raritys and the addition of Augments, which allow you to unlock a special advantage over your opponents.
New POIs have been added such as Frenzy Fields and for a more winter vibe, Brutal Bastion. Comment down below your thoughts on Chapter 4

I think the reason the map is "smaller " is because the zero point is going to keep dragging more and more pois to the edge of the maps

@@buffbillskid28 yeah steamy is suppose to be on this map. So i think later on in the season more parts of the map is gonna do the same as you said, combined together like minigames in the event.

As a controller player, epic has to fix our binds system. It was a pain to not have sprint for a season and a half, and once I finally figured out a method to where I can have it, chapter four comes out. I had to choose between removing markers, and emotes so I could get augments. Epic really needs to fix this

Had to remove emotes I spring with touchpad now it’s easy tor each and effective

Controller augment tip. Bind it under the “build” binds page to your emote button. For me emote is dpad down on first page. On build page dpad down is augment (choose “squad comms”). This means my emote works normally when pressing dpad down. But when augment is available dpad down will bring up augment selection. Hope that makes sense.

The scar has the same bloom it had before. You're just not used to it because the hammer AR and ranger AR had such little bloom

The scar has always been like that since chapter 2 season 3. It's just the fact that the hammer ar was more accurate and had better first shot accuracy. And we were used to the hammer Edit: Not to mention the hammers hipfire...

@@chris6ix3 No bro trust me the scar was always this inaccurate. The reason it was idolized as the best AR back then was because every other AR was pretty bad in comparison. But now that they added ARs that are more recoil-based and have less bloom, it makes the scar seem bad in comparison. There’s a reason why people used to always complain about bloom but don’t complain about it anymore.

I told everyone last season that the Hammer was probably the best weapon we've seen in the game. Reasonably accurate. First shot was insane and tap firing long distances was relatively easy. Mid range was absolutely bonkers and it was serviceable as an SMG with crazy hip fire. No one believed me....Now what say you? The Scar is no match for the Hammer. The only other weapon I would put against it was the Combat AR.

The ar has always had bad bloom. It's just the fact that you're used to the hammer's bloom. The only difference between the old ar and the new one is that the new one has a SLIGHTLY slower reload.

I love this season a lot, and for the pois there are a lot of small areas with a lot of loot, for instance the northern part of the map has a cave with the tilted clock tower and like seven chests. North east there is 3 houses with around 9 chests and there are towers all around the map and coastline huts.

I agree. Scar and red dot, both are realy hard to register. I had make videos of my game where i had red dot on body and i fired and then not a single shot hit.

Could have X amount of uses for the shock hammer in competitive to make it as a skilled fun item. The supply drop or hot drop mechanic could also drop heaps of metal.....this could add spice to spawn fights.

i personally like this season although the auto shotgun def needs to be buffed and as far for the pois i think we'll get more though out the season if its though melting snow or whatever else considering all the leaks of og pois it seems possible and for the binds on controller its not really that bad i personally unbinded my emote button since being able to ping is much more important hopefully everything will get fixed i have high hopes for this season

I think the hammer is a good thing to have in comp because it’s fun it’s useful and yes at the moment does need tweaking it should reduce the damage done to enemies or make it so you can’t get out of the animation so you get punished

Twin mag smg absolutely rips through people. I've been running 2 of these, it eats through builds. Jump in the box and they're dead. I can't hit at all other than 1st shot with scar at long distance either though. Bloom is a nightmare

I had to get rid of my emote button for the Augments :( it was the only non-gameplay-related/functional button I had left (I'm on controller) Still an amazing season however, really looking forward to Ch4

Best case scenario the edge of the maps get filled up with more pois but what about all the open space in the map already. I don’t understand how they thought it would be good to remove almost half of the chests in the game.

Yooo. Fyi. If you choose the "chug cannon" augment and you go down. When you get rebooted you will spawn with a grey pistol & chug cannon. But the original chug cannon you would have had when you went down still remains. Therefore. If you get the chug cannon perk ( or S/wave Explosive bow ) perk. You can spam this to get enough for the team. Which means 2 per player. Idk if this perk specifically is in arena / comp. But i feel like this may be abused if not somehow patched.

in my opinion and from own experience this is the fastest fights i have ever been apart of either if you exploit with the hammer or jump in with controller aim assist or just hit a lucky max damage with the new thunder spaz i just killed 14 people in one arena game (solo) and every fight probably took around 10 seconds to one minute

Sacrifice your emote/replay bind if you're on controller, then turn it back off when you play creative or other games so you can emote.

Shockwave hammer is busted. I was sitting in my box in arena and a duo each with the hammer landed on me hitting me with the hammer insta killing me. There was nothing i could do as i tried to get away with my own hammer but the hammer does over a hundred damage through builds so with two of them i died instantly

The frame drops are crazy. And I don’t have a terrible PC but I managed to run a solid 160+ fps last season and this season I get between 70-100. So the best settings would be a good video lol

Binding down on DPAD in BUIlD controls only… not combat. Pull your builds out and hit down on dpad. You just won’t be able to dance if you have augments available. If epic doesn’t want me to dance, I quit, and so does the money.

Hammer is broken in pubs when they run balloons at the same time or full squads at the same time. Map feels better then ch 3 but might just be the graphics

Since yesterday I been trying to find out how to get augments and the answer is lol do nothing they come by themself? But so far to me it would seem to give an unfair advantage. Someone who can play hours a day and unlocks more will be stronger then someone who cant because they have work or school and can only play a few hours a day tops
