The fact that tyranids are immune to black stone means that Hive mind is completely in our reality, it's not from the warp, it's just has some effect on it.

They are not immune. Valark is wrong about that. The article doesn't give the exact reason why the GSC are mostly immune. It speculates it's either because of their hybrid nature or because of their zealous faith in their Broodfather. Considering that faith Imperials are largely immune to the effects of the Pylons I say the latter is most likely. And on that note, the Votann are not immune too. The article says that they are resistant because of their smaller souls compared to humans. Staying too long in the range of the Blackstone Pylons is going weaken them but not at the same intensity and speed as it does to humans. As for the Tyranid, from previous lore like the Necron 5ed codex, it's stated that Necron anti-Warp tech royally screws the Hivemind and its psychic vassals. It has always been the lore that Pariahs and Null tech harms the Hivemind.

The necron lore has stated for some editions that tomb worlds are avoided by tyranid fleets BECAUSE they are a "hole" in the warp map (wich has been clarified to be caused by blackstone) so I don't really know

Blackstone can be used to weaken warp activity OR to empower it. It’s very much a positive charge/negative charge thing. I think this was in the lore since Battlefleet Gothic

That's what Vaul did with the Blackstone Fortresses. He made them with blackstone that probably amplified the psychic tech within it.

Incredible, GW actually remembered we exist. Blackstone impeding Drukhari replenishing their thirst is concerning for them. But I do imagine they are thinking of ways to utilize it so they can stem the Daemonic invasion on commorragh permanently. They stopped it already, with the help of the mandrakes, but the threat is still there. So this could be their key to permanently make sure it never happens again. But ya, Blackstone being capable of amplifying warp powers makes so much more sense because that explains how Vaul made the Blackstone Fortresses. Until now it made little sense why Vaul would make a weapon that is clearly powered by warp tech out of a material that suppressed the warp. But if blackstone can be made to amplify warp presence as well depending on how it is used, that explains a lot of things.

Thank you GW for giving me a new Battlefleet Gothic scenario: Demiurg/Votann launch a surprise raid on a lightly supported (probably inactive) Blackstone Fortress. VP's will come down to how many successful Hit & Runs plus Boarding Actions the Demiurg ships can get on the Fortress. Hell yeah!

As soon as the Forgebane box came out i snapped up a set of the fantasy ruins they used for Blackstone in the box pics. And then grabbed the Necron terrain set that's partially clad in it, i also got the Pariah Nexus Kill Team box with it's necron terrain and two sets of the last edition objective markers with their Necron and Mechanicus pieces. I'm even making a lifesize servo skull to house a speaker to blast the Mechanicus OST as soundtrack for my Mechanicus vs Necron Blackstone-gathering games but.... where's a Mechanicus Blackstone terrain piece? Cawl needs to hurry up with that because Chaos have theirs and the Necron have theirs and the whole plot of Forgebane was that the Mechaniucs were grabbing the stuff for Cawl to mess with. C'mon GW, make a nice piece of Blackstone hooked up with Mechanicus gizmos as a terrain piece!

Blackstone might not be affecting the Genestealers because their version of Tyrannid Hive mind is called the Brood Mind and is much more localized and it sends signals to the hive mind which still shouldn’t be possible in this case. If the Nids as a whole are immune to blackstone now however, it might be game over just due to how ridiculously powerful their psyker forms are. But Genestealers unable to make long distance call for help to hive fleet but can still communicate in system may he plausible.

As far as I’m aware, black stone has a polarity, which can be changed(?) so it can “negatively” charged and neuter the warp, or “positively” charged and enhance the warp

The Silent King's situation is like playing Teclis in Immortal Empires. The Xenos going really into it is setting this place up nice I think though it will end with a Black hole sucking the sector into it.

Here's a potentially interesting future storyline for the Eldar: Through some kind of crazy scenario part of Slannesh are severed from itself as it tries to take too much power from the other ruinous powers and out comes the collective souls of a vast number of the non-hedonistic Eldar which form a new warp god which itself harbors the souls of fallen Eldar and can return them to living bodies safely and without for of Slannesh. Other Eldar Warp gods could also be saved from the clutches of the ruinous powers and be returned to a pantheon.

Drukhari should see the potential in blackstone for patching up the warp incursions into Commorragh surely. Also if it nullifies the drain Slaanesh has on their souls surely it would mean they don’t need to inflict suffering to survive when using blackstone. It seems like a win win scenario if that were the case, I don’t understand why they say they’re dying out in the sector.
