2:18 I read someone pointing out on the demo's comment section that this glass things was a reference to the real life person inspiration of Alhaitham, his name was Ibn al-Haytham, known as the father of modern optics. al-Haytham at some point in his life pretend to be a crazy man too for avoiding punishments, reminds you of a certain scene on the Archon Quest don't you?

1:01 that stare still gives me chills. The way I'm actually convinced to pull him bc of this demo hahaha I love every part of this, the music, the animation, the interaction between the boys, all of them are golden.

With the trance music, Alhaitham’s cheesy “I don’t fight I think" line, this feels like an old 2000s anime with a mysterious bishounen 😭✨💕

Besides Nahida (obviously because she’s the Archon), no other character from Sumeru has caught my eye more than Al Haitham. Dehya, Candace, Cyno, Nilou, etc. I didn’t really care much for every other playable character from Sumeru aside from Al Haitham. So I’ll be rolling for him and his weapon for sure. Good luck on your rolls in a few hours everyone!

I'm 100% pulling for Alhaitham. I've wanted him since I first laid eyes on him in that one Sumeru teaser video, and I have enough to go double pity if need be. I even have his artifacts prefarmed and a weapon ready for him.

I feel like his theme in the live stream is better because in the video it's just a slower version of it but he's a badass the way he's just killed the enemies and just walks away like it was nothing

This is the first time we have a trailer told by a random 4* character isn't it? Usually it's Dain or Alice telling them. I really like this, it makes us dive in a more comfortable situation among friends, it feels homey and casual (I love this vibe), and at the same time it feels fitting for Alhaitham himself! He's just a dude who's a massive nerd and thinker, a student who happens to have a vision. I loved it

Also being already convinced I pull for Alhaitham, what this teaser did to me is strengthen my desire to pull for Kaveh when he’s out 😂
