I FELT YOU LORIE, YES, I SEE YOU. Since I've delved a bit into Genshin lore, the one archon I've gravitated towards to is Venti, maybe because of my affiliation being an air sign (Gemini), his JP VA (Ayumu Murase), and just how beautifully tragic he is. But after Nahida's introduction, I just feel overwhelming love for her. It's probably because of all the backlash, but just knowing how selfless she is amidst it all (in and out the game) just made me love her so much. She gives but never asks back, she has so much wisdom she wishes to impart and wanting only the happiness of others as her reward. Truly, a selfless archon. It breaks my heart still that there are people who still think her as a dumb character all because she's got a child design. Every time I see Nahida, I just love her more and more. In the upcoming update, I do hope that the people of Sumeru finally get to realize how blessed they are to have such a selfless, loving archon. AND I HOPE SHE FINALLY GETS THE BIRTHDAY SHE DESERVES!!!!!!!!!! FLOWERS, CANDIES, DANCES, CARRIAGE RIDES AND ALL!!!!

Awesome demo as expected. What I truly like about this demo was the ending and what it signifies. Nahida, left alone in the cage of darkness, with no light nor sound suddenly sees movement and light. That's definitely us breaking her out into the light again.

My heart breaks. Do you see that all the things that Nahida experiences? That all the people in these dreams are children. Why? Because the Akademia don't harvest the dreams of children. So she sees the world as wonderful place because she sees it through the eyes of children. That when these children grow and lose their dreams, Nahida loses connection to them. It makes you wonder how many children of Sumeru played with Nahida. How many of them were struck by her love of learning from them that they decided to become scholars? That once they stopped dreaming, they forgot the playmate of their dream world who inspired their live of learning because of her wisdom. How many people has Nahida inspired without meaning to? How many people of Sumeru have been blessed or encouraged by her to go persue knowledge. Even if it means that Nahida will not longer be able to speak with them. That Nahida maybe has made countless friends in dreams only to be left alone because of the Akademia. And I've made myself sad. 😭 Also that she's seen amazing things and possiblities in children's. But because the Akademia takes them away no new innovation occurs. How many times has new research happened because of dreams? Ugh it only makes me want to murder the sages even more.
