some things i noticed... 1. fontaine has a big orphan problem 2. there's only one graveyard in all of fontaine 3. "fatherless behavior" comments incoming to people who don't have arlecchino 4. arlecchino really likes offing people with her feet 5. hoyo needs to do more backstory animations and this teaser is one of the best so far

She's definitely a true Father in a sense. Taking care of such matters with iron fists but cares for her children dearly.

I'll never get tired of the Screen fading into black whenever her eye glows, the last thing the guy saw before death.

It's that moment when light fades from Snezhevna's eyes that gets me every time. I've seen that before. I know I would've killed someone else, too, if I had the power to do so, and if that could've brought the light back to those eyes. It's an animation, but it looks just like that. Good job, hoyo. Good parenting, Arlecchino.

Often when characters are shown to close someone's eyes after they die, they 1) usually know its going to happen 2) Care about the person who died, and/or 3) respect the deceased very much We can see that despite how awful she may seem, she has her own reasons I think there is a lot more to her character than "Mommying so hard she became Father" and "please step on me" and how she's killed a bunch of people (y'know, Fatui) Im excited to see where her story goes from here

Arlecchino makes me think of those stories where a parent passes away and though they didn't really talk or say much at home, when the child goes to collect their belongings from work, they find a bunch of pictures of them together and hear from their parents coworkers how they would talk about them all the time.

It’s an interesting parallel that the child’s name is Snezhevna, I hope they touch on the lore and significance of the name.

I like how she's so morally grey. I dont know whether to believe her or not with all she does and say, but there's always that grain of truth in what she does. She does evil stuff but she does it bc she cares to a certain extent. She has this weird moral compass but it makes sense. She isn't afraid of murder or to commit heinous crimes, but she is capable of empathy and compassion to a certain point. She is a fascinating character. I always wondered if push comes to shove, would she betray her children for the tsarista if she was given the order to do so.

I just came from watching the animated short. This character right here is peak Genshin showing what they really could do if they opened their bag. I'm impressed beyond words on how well made everything about Arlecchino is. This video left me shook and gave me chills in places I didn't know I could get them. Amazing...just simply amazing!

Why i have felling arlechino and freminette have a bond more than we know

After playing through her story quest, then watching her animated short and now her teaser, it really depicts why only someone like Arlecchino can be the true "King" of the House of the Hearth. Being the one that is able to raise and protect the unfortunate children to become strong, independent and most importantly, free to choose their fate, regardless of how dark and cruel their past is, is already an extremely difficult role. Not only that, being the one that has to witness their children injured or died in front of their eyes, while also being the one that can carry on their wishes and dreams, required immense mental strength. Arlecchino said that she is cold-blooded by nature, but she didn't turn out to be an absolute heartless maniac killer, she uses it to her strength to be able to uphold her role as a strict but caring "Father", who could truly provide the abandoned lost children a real warm home.

I sympathize with people who, instead of meaningless chatter, show their true goals with their deeds. Without pretense, pomposity, arrogance and hypocrisy. From the very beginning, it was clear that she didn't really care about the goals of Harbingers and Tsaritsa. By the way she was accepted into ranks of the Harbingers only as a favor. Arleccino was born in Fontaine, who went from a street kid to the head of an orphanage. And putting her life on the line to protect these children.
