No she didn't out him as bi, she said in the comic that he was gay: after Bobby said that maybe he was bi. So not Jean didn't out him as bi! But I too think it would make more sense if he was bi.

It's funny, I always saw Dick as attracted to people only after knowing them, what we would now call demisexual, and he did seem to have a thing for Jericho. During the aughts, they dance around the issue of if Jason had been a child prostitute. Something to keep in mind about his sexual history. But outside of that, Jason probably has the least sexual experience of the three Robins post-Flashpoint; I'm not sure about pre-Flashpoint. Tim, though? I have to question how he seems gay? Because he puts off sex? Two of his love interests were raped, not to mention his mentor (o hai Damian, how did you get here?) and his idol twice. (And let's not forget, he thought Lady Shiva wanted to sleep with him. I can't see a gay boy jumping to that conclusion, since it involves a lot of projection on his part.) Maybe bi? That's the best I can come up with. (And, you know, that sex scene with Cassie after he gave up on resurrecting Conner, the one we all agreed never happened.)

i think one of the most obvious ones would be the one where he literally comes out of a closet with Conner getting dressed in the background in Graduation Day (which the writer later revealed in an interview was an actual play on words and not just an hilarious coincidence)

@@thomasirwin9587 do you know of the 1year later arc? basically after infinite crisis and the death of Superboy (which happened right after the death of Tim's father and his ex-girlfriend, Steph), the bats took a year off to train and there was a timeskip in the DC universe. So the bats are back, Tim really didn't take Conner's death well so he's more and more emo and we learn he's been trying to clone Lex and Superman to get a new Conner (we learn in Adventure Comics #3 he stole everything from Lex's lab). Then he and Cassie make out in the liquid supposed to contain Conner's body because they're both sad about Conner's death while Cassie's trying to get Tim to start to move on like she did. The future arc (Titans of Tomorrow.... Today) basically reveals that Luthor learned about it and halped Tim make the new Conner (or he did it himself, I'm a bit confused on that...the point is that Luthor's technically the one who made the clone) because Cassie never convinced Tim to move on (which is part of why I couldn't understand the idea that Tim would be in love with Cassie there). in the meantime the scene in the liquid can also be taken as a hint of Tim having feelings for Conner (the Graduation Day one is, as far as I know, the only one done on purpose). I think it's also worth noting that during the one year later arc there's a group of bad guys whose name I forgot who prallel Tim's search of a body. In their case it's so that the Brin could get a body to be with his lover Mallah (a Gorilla) and aside from the fact that at the time they were pretty much DC's only stable gay couple, there's a comparison done with Tim's experipents because "they're [all] doing it for love". Strangely enough a lot of fans took it as an implication that Tim was in love with Conner (I mean it could be a platonic love thing, but these things just keep adding up. I mean in itself just trying to clone conner could be just friendship and desperation but add the liquid kiss, the love comment as a comparison to a gay couple and the context becomes more muddled).

Let's not kid around here, these corporations aren't trying to make rich story-telling for the lgbt experience, they're using sexuality as a way to make more money. Turning Jack gay, yes they TURNED HIM, because previously his sexuality was not anything related to his "disillusioned grizzled vet old man" persona, was a move by Blizzard to get Woke points. Bobby has been consistently heterosexual throughout all of Marvel history and it goes to show the new age of Marvel DO NOT CARE about the characters, they care about the money because they can easily get woke points for hiring a gay writer to make a shitty Iceman comic where Bobby is gay...outed in a fashion almost as unreasonably ugly and unnecessary as Wolfesbane being killed by two men in a comic to push an agenda on highlighting trans issues...gee thanks Marvel we appreciate a beloved character getting killed like that. Bobby was established to be straight for a long time, Jack/Soldier 76 wasn't, in fact Bobby's sexuality mattered more to his character because there were stories where he was in relationships than Blizzard had produced for Jack in like the three years since they've fucking made Overwatch. So, yeah, they straight (pardon the pun) up TURNED Bobby gay...could have made him Bi (like me!) which stays consistent with his character history but nooooo, let's just out him as gay and then...oh, no one cares because no one buys his comics? Okay...still gay though.

TL;DR: Your comparison with soldier 76 fails. Bobby was turned gay. Marvel really only cares about money, not LGBT experiences with any real weight.

@@AngelicBeatdown I didn't knew who wolfsbane is, but hey you said that's trans related so maybe for once we won't have bad representation. So I checked out and read the comic and I think it was poor taste. That's not representation, we are only worth the shock value I guess. For trans readers it's a really uncomfortable read to say the least, "Ah'm just a normal girl", "Here to trap normal guys, huh?", "Stop pretending you're a normal girl!" are just hurtful to read and won't get the message across to those that to need to understand how hateful this scene is anyway. Instead of inspiring people or make them relate, sell some dream, an escape to reality they just throw some of the darker things and quite frankly that made me feel like shit. Also it was 4 men beating her down and she probably could have run away since well she has super powers and they are just 4 common dudes.

It’s out here, and I tried it, but it’s not the same, so I’m not a fan, same with Judo, Judo is very common where I live, and I’m fully just not interested in either of them
