You know, out of the two conventional snipers in BFN, Deadbeard is by far my preferred pick. Maybe it's his mobility, or his cosmetics, or even just the team he's on. Whatever the case is, he's the character that I will ALWAYS stand by, no matter what!

Im pretty confident he was based on the pirate captain from pvz2. Or at least heavily inspired. Their color schemes we so simular and they both use a parrot to attack.

the pirate is easily one of the best characters in the game, I have been a main for a long time and I can say that he is incredible thanks to his upgrades, damage and abilities, heavy metal and his speed upgrade (including the barrel), he makes a close and long-distance combat versatility that I love and is perfect for solving his other problems. I know that a citron or oak in addition to a main night cap destroys him and the parrot is not as effective as the garlic drone but ignoring this he is a very good character and one of the best in my opinion

dead beard solos cactus in close range tho, his shotgun is very well balanced in a way that its offensive enough to work yet too weak to be his go to primary fire

You should make the falling whistle sound effect in your intro slightly longer every release to make people slowly lose their minds/question if it’s actually getting longer. EDIT: in order to accurate measure the amount of pellets fired for Deadbeard/scientist is to shoot a Citron’s shield and count the damage icon. Hope that helps!

Cactus might have better upgrade combos but Deadbeard has it way, Way, WAY easier to land critical shots on plants because all of them have huge ass heads and their critical spot is basically that giant Round Circle

Deadbeard is definitely one of my favorite zombies. I like his offensive sniper playstyle (barrel blast and heavy metal make it easy to reposition and get kills close range) as opposed to cactus, who's more defensive (potato mine, 'nuff said). Sure, cactus is better if your aim is good enough, but the massive crit boxes on plants are hard to pass up.

Honestly, DB isn't AS fun as people make him out to be. !! This comment is filled with controversial opinions !! Most likely due to his kit being focused on... Being a hybrid? Which did not transition well into BFN ( Of course, in my opinion. ). His barrel is like flipping a coin. As in, you either die while rushing towards someone OR you get someone really low* ( You can get kills from it from time to time, but don't count on it! ) . His Parrot Pal... Oh BOY... It... Is pretty good! It's damage is alright, has a good area denial ability that does what it's supposed to! Anchor's Away is just luck ( In my opinion! ). You gotta hope for the Anchor to actually push ya, which judging from my experience... Let's just say it was just the Anchor's part. ( And it's only good with the upgrades! ) The repositioning part of the move isn't even worth it! Due to the delay, and the really REALLY small height boost you can get. ( However, I do admit with the upgrades it is AMAZING for running. ) Overall, I don't really like DB in BFN, but hey, if you like him, that's totally fine! Feel free to criticize me if I said something you don't agree with.

I don’t have any reason to critique what you think about him, I understand a lot of the issues you have with him. I personally find him to be a very enjoyable character to play, but that’s just because I’ve always enjoyed his playstyle and kit

I stopped playing BFN because of how unbalanced it is and how toxic it can get. It’s just not fun to play anymore, GW2 is better. But a fact about Captain Deadbeard is that you can use the anchor to escape from a burrow while you’re being eaten, then the Chomper will eat nothing and still have to do the entire animation.

GW2 in 2024 Is not Better balanced, counting that everyone have legendary or at least broken variants, and beginners get humiliated, except if you play a few characters Like All Star or Peashooter

@@jetmarket1527 that rarely ever happens, most GW2 rounds I’ve played are fair for both sides no matter the variants (unless there’s a try-hard max rank but even an average team can win against them after a few rounds). GW2 is way more balanced than BFN.
