Charger RT Flowmaster 40 Series - Highway DRONE TEST

7 жыл бұрынHere is the 2015-2016 Charger RT with Flowmaster 40 series doing Highway Drone test. Everyone is concerned with drone, which is very understandable. To me the flow master 40 series has a little drone but nothing that should be concerning or unlivable.

MDS active? how bad is the from from 1-10?

The MDS is a little annoying to listen to but I have to say you don't hear it for long. On the highway when it's active the car is very quiet.

I wonder how the super 44 series would compare as far as drone🤔

The 44's are a little more aggressive but not far off from the 40's

Good experience to go by. I have a better Idea of cruising drone now for that setup. 'Appreciate it.

R/T Life I forgot to ask....did you just put the 40s where the mid mufflers use to be and straight pipe the rest?

Is it really drone, or just the sound of a V8 breathing and doing what it does best? I have the same two-chamber flowmasters on my SRT8 and if the wife/kids bitch about it on the way to Disneyland, guess they're not going to Disneyland. Or we can take the 20-year-old Toyota 4-cylinder, but everyone's always like, "Nah, we're good, bro... We'll deal with drone!"

Once I set my exhaust up with real tips the drone went away. The sound waves were getting trapped in the rear bumper - the real tips extend past the bumper now.

people around me suck at driving - braking for no reason is very common
