1989, I ran from a Georgia State Trooper in an 87 VW GTI 16v. The GTI had 123 hp and the cop was driving a 1989 225 hp Mustang 5.0. The chase started on 85 north from the airport heading to downtown Atlanta. I could not out run him because the GTI topped out @ 120 mph. He got stuck in traffic and I jumped off the hwy going down the on ramp. By the time he had slowed down from 135 mph, turned and came down the on ramp. We were about half mile up Steward Ave and making a left to get on hwy 166. We have not seen him sense.

No, I’m talking from experience. When I run from cops I don’t blackout unless I escape “eye view” and I’m using that term loosely. Being the chaser (the cop) it’s easier to follow a blackouted car amongst traffic. Because our eyes see a dark blob I can’t quite explain it because I’m fried. But I’ll check this comment later

Glenn then took him north on john barrow road He ends up on john barrow by three gas stations and a churches instead of on university at 1 gas station next to a popeyes

In 1983, I had a relative that lived in Memphis and visited us from time to time. We ran a shop at the time near the Tennessee border with Kentucky and he was in town and asked if we could take a look at his 1979 Mercury Monarch. The car was equipped with the 4.1 liter (250 c.i.d.) engine with the 1 bbl. Carter YF carburetor. The car had very low mileage and my dad suggested we give the car an "Italian" tune up. So, we took the car on a new 4-lane road near the shop and he floored the acceleration pedal. The car only had 85 on the speedometer and the needle was well past that. Suddenly, a Kentucky State Police Trooper appeared going the opposite direction in a 1981 Dodge St. Regis with a 5.9 liter (360 cu.in.) engine. He had to go about 1/2 mile before he could turn around and dad never slowed. Dad turned down the road to the shop and we drove in the garage and closed the door and waited. We switched cars and went back to town and the officer was cruising the parking lot at a shopping center and then drove off. (The State Police Post was just up the road.) Weeks later, one of the county officers my dad knew said there was a call that went out about a speeding Monarch driven by a guy wearing a baseball cap. The state and county hated each other (the state police still gets referred to as the "Grey gods.") so, the county officer told the state officer that they got outrun by a 6-cylinder Monarch. They never told it was my dad. Then dad told me NEVER do that. GREAT VIDEO!

Taking something that isn't yours you should expect blue lights in your rear view alot or atleast until you get caught slipping. But what people don't understand messing with the police running from em can end in Death even. Not just jailtime so it's honestly about what kinda situation you trying to put yourself in. Theses dodge chargers are eye candy anymore I feel. Cool ass cars tho just too much attention to want the risk. Noone wanna die or do a whole lot of time over a car fr but they do everyday. Even the stolen zo6 it caught up to him too. Just be careful and move right and stay out the way out there. But if you ain't living right stealing what other fate do you expect offcourse you are gonna run like a wild mustang. Theses chases can lead to a shootings or a fatal accident at a high rate of speed even kill innocent people in the process. So it's definitely wreckless but 3am probably the best time for a chase but unless I'm driving on a trip or something you won't see me on the road between 3-4am in the morning. After midnight 1 am ain't much good going on in the world anyways until about 7am. What papaw and mamaw used to tell us.
