Charging But Not Charging (MP3 mini speaker)

Күн бұрынI just want to share a simple troubleshooting about MP3 mini speaker. Charging indicator is ON but not charging. Power switch is ON but no power.

I've just bought a Bluetooth speaker beginning of this week and it wasn't charging before and now when it charges it get extremely hot my family think it'd a bad battery

What level of Hot when you charged? It is normal for the battery to become hot when charging. On the other hand try to charged the battery uncover the MP3 and try to observed the temperature of the battery. When you charged it for a few minutes then the battery cant be touch anymore then their is a problem in the battery or in the unit. But you charged it about 2 hours then battery is hot but if you touch the battery you can tolerate the hotness then its fine.

We are same speaker but i open it the bettery it's not same at you the battery like a flat and i charge 2hr and still low battery what i gonna do

Try to replace a new battery or check battery connector before you charge the unit sometimes battery connectors loss contact.

No indicator for full charged. This kind of unit you can charge it for 2 to 3 hours maximum 5 hours.

Nothing to do with the bluetooth.

It might be your wall charger port.

the problem here as I troubleshooted is the battery connector it is "cold solder" loss contact.

Just check the pairing sometimes it has a problem in pairing even if they are paired.

What if the Bluetooth speaker indicates charging when battery is not there but once the battery is inserted,the charging indicator went off

It's has a problem in the charging circuit.

@@biggieman8982 Solution is to buy new. Now a days MP3 players is a disposable units. It's hard to troubleshoot because of it's parts very small.

Hello, I also have a small blueooth speaker. It doesn't turn on. The only thing that lights up is a blue LED when i olug the usb 5v charge. The battery has 4v. What can i check to troubleshoot the problem? Thanks

No not really you can use this even when charging.

Bcuz now I had to charge this in overnight, but when I try to use it in the morning, its totally lose a sound. So ilI think its has a problem. 🤦♂️

@@fedrickz9712 try to open and check the battery inside use a voltmeter to read the available voltage in the battery approximately 1.2 to 1.5 Volts if it is fully charged. If it reads 0.5 below battery is not charging.

Recommended charging hour is 2 hours. It is a manual charging no indicator no automatic shut off. Make sure you only charge it for 2 hours.

It's best to turn off if charging. But you can still use it when charging.

Hey I have the same speaker branded cisco meraki procomp. I also have similar charging issues when I give it for charging the red light displays but doesn't turn off and even after I charged it for 4 hours the battery was showing at the starting to be 30% then it went up to 80% then suddenly 20% and so on keeps fluctuAting... I don't know how to reset this... Pls help

@@Woodys_Hobbies but it's almost new... I had got it like few weeks back... And haven't even used it for an hour. And it feels like there's more of a technical glitch because as I told... The battery goes from 20% to 80% sometimes and it stays there. Isn't there any way to factory reset it?

Oh really? To open this is just remove the 2 screws at the bottom.

If no sound please check the "MODE". Troubleshoot the ff. Speaker, Volume Control and Reheat the Circuit inside.

In this video the problem is the battery connector it is loss contact. The battery connector is cold solder.
