Can you see any reason to connect the Orion XS to my CerboGX if my setup is Truck/5th Wheel? I'll never be able to see power input while driving, but I guess I could have my wife monitor it via the phone app.

The advantage of hooking it up is that the Cerbo will do a better job showing you the performance of the Orion and your system. It stores the data and you can look back at previous data to see how much a drive for example actually charged your system. The Cerbo can be used for live data streaming, but also historical reference which is often more important.

My older model inly draws 10A, is this simply because the alternator is not pushing enough amps?

Cool. That’s why I’m waiting to have y’all do this for me till I’m ready to retire. Technology is moving fast and they are making things smaller and more efficient. I only have a little over 2 years left 😊 so let’s thanks the aliens 👽 for this great technology 😂
