I did use amp as well but I feel like I die mid unite a lot, so I switched to buddy barrier and it works great 👍

Love the patch on Char. He was my hyper carry to get to masters during the season that Mew came out, so I’m glad he’s meta again

Energy amplifier is lost in Charizard's unite move. Because it only give the bonus for 4 secs after the unite move is used and 2 secs is lost with Char's unite move animation. So, its only 2 secs boost or 2 Auto attacks.

What do you think of comfey taking 80% reduced damage when attached but heals effect itself to.

I used to play dawn gate back in the days and there was a character like comfey where she would jump on an ally. The counter play to that character was that she took a small percentage of damage for her ally. Essentially she could theoretically get killed and I feel comfey should have that in its kit as well. The issue with comfey is not that it's the best healer but other healers can get focused down where as comfey can't and that just makes killing a target with comfey a race of time before they kill you. Every character should have counter play and I doubt comfey will ever be balanced unless they introduce counter play such as l reduced healing items or have comfey absorb a percentage of damage from its ally.

Played a few games with char last night after the patch. I would say it is useable but I'm out of practice. I was running attack weight, muscle band and a sharp claw. I don't have an energy amp that is very high level yet. I would say it feels like he's back to he way he was for the most part. Pike at range until they're around half then dive deep and kill your lane opponents

I noticed you’re getting 6% units charge per wild Mon (unless I’m crazy) I wonder if there’s some unite charge % break point like with auto attack speed that goes past 5.5 and rounds it to 6% per wild Mon. If so that’s huge

I've been seeing mixed opinions about energy amp, something like you don't really get good use from it bc your up in the air so long by the time you Slam the enemy the boost is over, idk how true this is but I've seen atk weight used instead (you can still manage to get most of your stacks even if you go jungle)

These were the buff I didn't want for zard I wanted buffs for mostly everything a part from the ult

It took 1 min 5 sec to get Unite back from 1 kill and 7 farm. That sounds pretty good but I don't stare at it for a lot of mons so now I need to pay attention to some others

The buffs nice 5:05 but i think your right there is no counter play for Zacian and its so not worth playing unite when it just destroys you for 8th game in a row and teammates grief

Now we just need a few other of the forgotten Pokémon to get so love like Charizard. A shame the lightning kitty likely will continue to fly under the radar.

The buff for Char is pretty good. At least, he's a more usable now. I've always been a Char main and I hope they also buff his other moves since my fave moves is flamethrower, flare blitz. He's still a bit squishy tho.

The unite cancel is what drags char down, especially on ray fight.

Charizard buffs are kind of not enough, bandaid on a broken leg, this is like Buzzwole buff on muscle gauge, so I think the winner of this patch, is Zororororororororororoark. The cooldown buffs and healing buff helped it, a lot

I never understand why people run energy amp Charizard. The 21% dmg buff only lasts for 4 seconds after your unite. By the time you slam the opponent on the ground you get like 2 seconds or less of bonus damage. Wouldn't attack weight or float stone be the better option?

Guys help me, I left pokemon unite 2-3 months back so help me by telling what's going on in pokemon unite. People are saying something about zacian being broken can somebody tell me???

I think that they should make Comfey's abilities scale with the host. Frailer Pokemon such as Cinderace or Absol should get more healing and shielding than bulky or opressive Pokemon such as Trevenant or Zacian.

Probably not the best build for zeraora but scope lens, attack weight, energy amplifier with discharge and spark works wonders for me probably because I'm not the best but best game I had got 24 kills and if I'm correct it wasn't against bots so pretty good I'd recommend it

iunno hearing people talk about counterplay when regarding Espeon is kind of funny. like your counterplay is 'dodge every single time it uses this move or else you are literally dead.' which i don't think is anywhere near enough counterplay to call a mon as being in a healthy state.

Totally agree about counterplay in balancing. If Speedsters as a whole were great and relevant we wouldn't have as much of an issue with Espeon and other Attackers. Some nerfs for Comfey to encourage counterplay would be to greatly increase back the time it naturally gets flowers. Most Comfey's I come across never detach it seems and there needs to be changes to discourage that because the whole thing of Comfey detaching encourages counterplay.

Problem with Comfey really is the fact that she doesnt need to get of the pokemon to do allot of healing and stuns, getting off even cancels your stunning and leaves you very vurnable Would love to see them nerf the passive healing and make it so her healing with max charges is as it is now. Also make it so Comfey can also heal herself over time and give her some more health so she can survive going for more charges.

Charizard's unite buff is noticed a bit, but the buff to basic attack really isn't noticeable. It still feels the same to me. Also, I was playing a bit a Zacian, to see if the change affected it and nope it didn't. It's still OP. I really think the developers hate Charizard and are making him suffer for it.

Not really a Char user so I can't really comment on the buffs but I will say no matter how bad Charizard is my team mates will alway pick him so I'd rather he be meta relevant.

It is still sooo bad, you die instantly with almost everything and every single allrounder can kill you in a 1vs1 unless you have ult honestly for me char rn is the pikachu of all-rounders , the only good thing about him is the ult, if you go jungle fine but why not bring any other allrounder there? Jake, I was having a lot of success with Char before the buffs using a movement speed build, with Float Stone, Muscle Band and Scope Lens, 6 brown 4 white and +224 movement speed. You should try out that build, Char just zooms away from everybody and deals massive damage. SO MUCH FUN! I was getting 80K to 110K damage every match.

I think this sort of buffs are kind of lazy... I'd rather them have tweak with some of his moves or return its piercing damage on some instances or altogether rather than making him a brain-dead ZL spammer. At least Delphox is super squishy and needs spacing to play, Char is just annoying to deal with like this, and yet another indirect buff to Slowbro lol.

I don't know if this is a hot take but I'm not a huge fan of the Charizard buffs. Turning it into a special spammer doesn't seem like good game design, especially for Charizard. And the moment Charizard becomes good the special will be the first thing that gets nerfed anyway so it's odd that this is the buff they chose to give it. Meanwhile the buff to its basic attack feels minimal and its moves didn't get anything.

I don’t really like the buffs, well, the one to the Ult Cooldown anyways. Charizard has always been part of a really bad archetype. “Ult Centric”. In simple words, most if not all of his Power Budget goes to his ult. He does nothing outside it unless you have a level advantage. He is an oppressive and spammable Ult. That is what they WANT him to be. Which is unhealthy for the game and creates game states where there is no counterplay or where you have a very unfun RSP. “Zard has ult, he wins”. I would rather see them buff the rest of his kit and nerf his ult. Flare Blitz still sucks and has done so forever.

I hate how bad players keep saying. the zacian nerfs weren't enough. Scrubs just want it to be completely gutted.
