With the recent buff and everything I've been wondering this question a lot i do like chandelure playstlyle and design but am still wondering if I should buy it and if you guys think i should can you give me some tips on how to play chandelure? Like what is the best moveset best held items and tips on move like that.

Gameplay-wise I'm like Flamethrower/Fireblast a lot more than Firepunch/Flareblitz, but the buffed Unite Move surely is a great quality upgrade!

Other Charizards can still cancel your unite move, though. I was doing it in every match against other Charizards.

This makes me a little nervous actually. The damage is crazy, the mobility and unstoppable for the entire duration is huge, and it has an insanely short cool down. Now that he can use it whenever he wants I feel like he's gunna be a serious menace to society.

Char needed more priority on its unite. It did not need to out prioritize slowbro’s unite. Charizard’s unite went from extremely difficult to activate to “you don’t have to pay any attention to what’s happening anymore” easy. This is not a good thing. My expectation is that by the end of this patch people will be saying “if charizard’s unite is this easy to use, it should have been nerfed”. People have complained that slowbro’s unite can’t be countered (it’s a defensive/lock down unite it shouldn’t be able to be). I hope people keep that same energy with charizard (who’s unite turns it into the strongest pokemon in the game for a few seconds) because of that it SHOULD be difficult to use.

So 2 questions 1) why a muscle band isn't that bad for zard? 2) if you unite can a mon like Slowbro grab you in the air and hold you?

Char DID NOT NEED A BUFF

This buff goes to the right direction. But it is STILL NOT SATISFYING. I am a charizard main and the survivability of Char is still trash. Go to unite db and check his DEF and SP DEF stats. Its ridicilious. He has almost the same SpDEF as Duraludon on many levels. Duraludon is a squishy Attacker while Charizard is an AllRounder. There is still work on Charizard to do.
