It's funny how Barkley and Mahorn ended being teammates 😂

One of my favorite players to watch growing up. A lot of younger people may see Chuck as some old "hater" who doesn't know what he's talking about. Charles was no joke lol. I'm glad he's had the success he's had after playing.

Wow! Barkley against Terry Cummings. Cummings was strong as a bull. Look how he kept Barkley far fro the rim!

Philly almost traded The Doc. for a young Cummings!

Yeah Barkley's body language says it all - just waiting for Refs to step in.

The only time in his long NBA career, Barkley was visibly hesitant of going after someone was against Terry Cummings. Cummings was all powerful and absolutely no nonsense at all. His face, dimeanor and even his voice reminded me of Marvin Hagler

No one did Terry was a humble baller who didn't take no shit and no one tried him besides Barkley who he respected Terry from Chicago and from 82-90 consistently put up over 20ppg and 8 borads he was an multiple all star and all nba player but during the entire 90s he became a role player but still has a career average of 16 and 8

There is a psychology of how to deal with the refs, and how to be in control of yourself (if you want the calls to go your way). It is a part of the game that Barkley never had a grasp of. One of the things that gets you ZERO rings.

CHARLES WAS TOO MUCH DIRTY PLAYER AND PROBABLY THAT'S THE REASON WHY HE NEVER WON A LEAST ONE CHAMPIONSHIP IN THE NBA I THINK THE LUCKY DIRTY PLAYER OF ALL TIMES DENNIS RODMAN HE DID IT WITH PISTON AND BULLS BUT THOSE TEAM WAS FULL OF GREATEST PLAYERS I THINK THAT'S THE REASON WHY RODMAN WAS SO LUCKY. BUT CHARLES WAS OUT OF CONTROL ALMOST EVERYTIME BUT IT IS WHAT IT IS IT'S A SHAME BECAUSE HE WAS A GREAT SCORE PLAYER

still though Barkley instantly became first option in Hakeem's rockets, altough older than Pippen and Pippen was whining about that because he was 3rd option..Barkley stats against Kobe/Shaq lakers playoffs were great and he gave a huge fight to themdominating the paint, while Pippen disapeared and Hakeem was below mediocre! Go check...
@DAB901 Жыл бұрын
@@andreaspapadakis2602 No Rudy T wanted Pippen to be a spot up 3 point shooter for the Rockets while Barkley and Hakeem backed opponents down for more than 5 seconds. Horrible offensive plan that was not gonna work.

Imagine if Charles had used the skills he was capable of. He would have won a lot of championship games. Too bad he never really gave 100% effort. He will always be known as a lazy player in the history of basketball sadly.
@heywella2 жыл бұрын
He would've won a title if he didn't have to go against the Bulls. He was in great shape for a while. I understand that argument and agree with some of it to a certain extent. You don't accomplish what he did (especially being undersized at his position) by being" lazy" your whole career.
@arizjones2 жыл бұрын
It was not lazy, it was lack of self control, and a lack of understanding the psychology of dealing with refs. Dude was a work horse and hustled like crazy on the court, getting tons of rebounds.
@ronm39452 жыл бұрын
Barkley doesnt look lazy..he plays with lot of intensity and passion..look at the soooft manboys of today if u want lazy

@nuthinnicehiphop2 жыл бұрын
@@williamb223 you must never have seen him play in the playoffs. The second he would get upset or they start to lose he would shut down. Yeah he played great for the Dream Team. They won each game by like 37 points so CB had no pressure and he performed well. Still one of my favorite players but as I said, very lazy player.
