Yale is no slouch. They gave Gonzaga a good game earlier in the season. Bulldog against Bulldog. Gonzaga won but Yale made it tough. For a while.

Ivy league is better over the past 15 years. No scholarships but more genrous financial aid. If you were going to be on the bench in Notre Dame, Stanford or Duke then you might as well go to the Ivy League, take the financial aid and develop your game.

Looks like A&M will be out tomorrow since they face Houston… Tennessee should beat Texas, Bama should beat Grand Canyon… but then again, Kentucky should have beaten Oakland, Auburn should have beaten Yale, Florida should have beaten Colorado, Mississippi State should have beaten MSU, South Carolina should have beaten Oregon… SEC sucks 😂 just a brand that ESPN owns and since the playing field is more level in football now they don’t dominate and so they have to push the SEC more in basketball now.

SEC should have really considered expanding 2 more schools like Kansas and Arizona. SEC is the king of football so they don't need big time football but they get embarrassed in March so often. They need 2 basketball schools to go with Kentucky tor round out that conference.

In 3 of 4 of Arizona's last NCAA tournament appearances they lost in the 1st round to a 15-seed and a 13-seed and lost in the Sweet 16 to an 11-seed. Not like they haven't been embarrassed themselves in the Big Dance.

Records ans individual talent in THIS tournament don't matter. Whichever team shows up hungrier and more determined can beat any other team. Just look at the number of "upsets" in the first round. You have to respect EVERY opponent no matter their seed.

One of the things I like about Sir Charles is that he is gracious loser (and also able to take a joke or multiple jokes and pranks at his expense without getting mad). Quite a contrast with Kenny, whose usual defense is to complain and whine and make up lame excuses, and Shaq, who would either denied that he lost or get mad and storm off (though sometimes that's just him playing that role).

I feel so bad for Kenny. Clark talks over him. Clark probably doesn't even realize he's doing it. Kenny takes it well but I think the producer could do a little better to tell him to stop doing that.

Barkley know because when he was at Auburn they made it to the SEC tournament finals (barely loosing to Kentucky), then Richmond managed to knock out him and Chuck Person out in the first round.
