@tainanking Tubby won a championship and in 10 seasons, his worst record was 22-13. He also never lost in the first round. So saying Kentucky was "bad" under Tubby is inaccurate.

These cohesive older teams from small schools are increasingly underrated. This leads to more and more early round upsets. Kentucky is particularly susceptible to early-round upset because of its perennial inexperience.

I'm a lifelong Jayhawks fan, but it was not an upset for KU to lose to the Zags. Frankly, with how shorthanded they were, it would not have been an upset for them to lose in Rd. 1 to Samford. Time to reload for next year.

When that Oakland head coach was looking down at the floor pacing he wasn't thinking about the game. His mind was set on which Power 5 schools were going to offer him to leave, would his family have to move to east coast or mid-west, now he will get commitments from actual 4-5 's⭐, etc...
