I think this commercial actually aired sometime closer to 1970. If I recall, the actor playing the guy in red died in 1971, and this commercial was made to promote a line of products Mandom launched in 1970.

I think Charles went into hiding after he did this assignment LOL. He way over splashed the cologne which probably smelled cheap and spicy and after that he fired shots from a revolver? This commercial borders on being campy but so much fun to watch many years later. Was this even ever even released in the US market? I have to hunt this down and buy a bottle.

The problem with this commercial is that it is just not realistic that Bronson would return to his luxurious apartment without a lover, given that he had already probably sprayed himself generously with Mandom earlier that day and that, generally speaking, all the world loves a lover.

You can't "RESTORE" something by stretching it into a non-native aspect ratio. The commercial was intended to be viewed in 4:3 aspect ratio. You're not doing anybody a good service by morphing the image to whatever aspect ratio pleases your eye. "I restored it"? Really?
