I always thought it was funny how Charles pronounces "mechanics." So I started wondering how other drivers pronounce it. And that's how I learned that Charles is the only one who talks about mechanics.

I mean I've heard other drivers say "the guys back at the factory," or "paddock", "garage," etc a lot so even though they don't specifically say "mechanics" they're still thanking them for their efforts and stuff, or they would just say "the team". Ive definitely heard other drivers say mechanics too though, I'm just not sure where🤔 Seen too many videos I think 😂 Anyway yeah Charles' accent when he says certain words is really funny lol

@@michaela.r6 Yeah I was exaggerating a bit, the other drivers do thank the team. But Charles is very specific about the mechanics . . best moment was on Twitch when he won a race and the fence was empty and "where are the mechanics to celebrate me?!!?" lol

@A M it’s pretty similar to be completely honest. Charles says “meh-cen-ics” and emphasises the “meh” but generally it’s pronounced “meh-cAn-ics” but it really doesn’t matter. I hope that makes senses :)

The way it switches midway from fairly innocent questions about F1 drivers in general to talking about fuel specifically is really not subtle, considering the average person would never talk about fuel without being specifically prompted to do so. I didn't realize this was Shell-sponsored content until then. Very clever.....

I have seen a couple more of those kinda on the nose ads, so I'd specifically looked at the channel that posted this video and thought ah this won't be an ad. And then I noticed the shell pump in the background, and I was like the setting feels a bit odd, but I suppose it's a way to get an important sponsor in. And then the fuel bit started and I was like... oh it is an ad

It's actually really impressive the fact that they're sat in front of a SF90 Stradale and in the background there's an Enzo, an F50 and a super exclusive 488 Pista Piloti Ferrari.

I don't think Leclerc comes from an 'exceptionally wealthy' family - his brother Arthur stopped karting for 5 years so their family could afford to pay for Charles' racing. They actually ran out of money and Charles almost couldn't keep racing, but Jules Bianchi made some calls and got him a manager who funded his early career so he could continue.

They may not know but the f1 car fuel is fully synthetic and heavily processed to make it light on weight but work to give car a fast power energy so yes the fuel is actually 50 different

RE pressure........ I'm a massive Ferrari fan so please don't take this the wrong way but they do have protection from the contract they have signed via their advisers/agent. Yes, they could be dropped after a sequence of bad results but financially I'd be surprised if a bit of protection wasn't written in like with other sports people. Therefore this helps mitigate some of the pressure

In you search the term "latino" in a Spanish dictionary, it says it refers to the people from places where Romance languages are spoken, so: Spain, Portugal, France, Italy, Romania, South America and anywhere else were Spanish, French, Portuguese, Italian, Romanian are spoken. Only for the US "latino" means someone from Latin America.

The coverage of F1 is becoming predictable, and boring, you only interview the top three after a race, why not have one of the the top ten finishers to say how their race was? Drivers who finish and get even the lousy points are excited their team is excited, is that not worth reporting? If not what is F1 about , certainly, passion desire hunger, what about the interviewing the pit crew, are they not part of F1, the sport has gone through changes to make it more even for all team, well the media and reporting should do the same, the are ten teams, 20 drivers they all deserve fair representation, not what they are receiving now!
