Jordan Belfort , the last time I researched (about a year ago ) still had NOT MADE RESTITUTION to the people he STOLE from ; yet he continues to lecture, travel , make decent money and is living quite well . Can you please do a piece about him ... explaining that he has not paid back his victims ? Worst yet when I have read comments about him , I cannot believe how many people admire the man.. . I do wish you would give justice to his victims and tell the truth about him . When Belfort is confronted about the restitution he lies and says it is paid back . Everything is a big joke to him ; the example he has set is appalling.... he knows he owes money to people , some whose lives he has destroyed . Please please please do research him and don't be afraid of getting sued by him, please... someone needs to speak out on behalf of his victims who don't have much of a voice and yet many people do watch this channel

But yeah, I used to watch documentaries on Court TV about swindlers & other criminals, and they always seemed to get caught because they got too greedy. Like one about a guy who used to hack slot machines in casinos. He got caught because the casinos realized they were losing a lot of money. If he'd kept doing his thing but only kept his ill-gotten goods down to like a couple thousand dollars a week, he could have lived on that quite well and the casinos would probably have not noticed, thinking it was just a down week. But he got greedy and kept taking tens of thousands of dollars so they looked more closely and he ended up getting caught.

One of the greatest mistakes ponzi made (at least to me anyway) was failing to adapt and not realizing that eventually stuff like the postage stamp thing he started out with was going to become obsolete
@safeinhisarms337

It wasn't a mistake. God allowed it in order to expose him in the future, of which he was. No matter how perfectly fine any dubious activity is planned, there will always be an unnoticed loophole that will be the downfall of the scammer. It's always God at work behind the scenes to ensure that they are exposed eventually.

The key to being a successful con man is to quit while you are ahead and disappear before you get caught. Same for a career as a gambler. The day I get $34M is the day I retire and get a new identity and some cosmetic surgery and go live on my own yacht complete with floating artificial island in tow in international waters after giving up my citizenship. What Bernard Madoff should have done when he hit $50B and the end was in sight (ie when he couldn't pay anyone without checks bouncing or even a few months before that when he couldn't get any new investors on board).
@Mitche23
@Mitche23 4 жыл бұрын
Madoff scam failed because of 2008 market crash. That was unfortunate consequence for him
@fvckyoutubescensorshipandt2718
@fvckyoutubescensorshipandt2718 4 жыл бұрын
@@Mitche23 That just sped up the inevitable. Everyone needed to cash out all at once when their other investments tanked and he couldn't pay what they were promised. Even w/o the crash he was headed for dire straits anyway, it would have just been a few years later. Personally I would have took the money and ran after a month of no new money invested because it quickly goes down hill from there. Though actually running with even $10B would probably be difficult (110 tons of $100 bills), best to quietly convert it all into mobile property (ie floating island or my own aircraft carrier) and hire my own mercenary army to defend it.

It would be interesting to hear about the Nigerian Prince email scam back around the 2000’s. Assuming it’s not still going on.

I dont think he died penniless, because whats really important to some people is fact of there Legacy, even though its not a great one eveybody still remembers him, and that makes him a rich man (philosophie.

Video was ok but the amount of ads was excessive. As a sponsored video you would expect less pop-up ads. I realize I could pay for the Red service but that just ain't gonna happen (too much $).
